Official Images of Eqg Minis Fashion Packs Released
Over at the New York Toy Fair last month we saw a new concept for Equestria Girls Minis where a full figure is combined with interchangeable cloths, hair and accessories. And while we've seen a Pinkie Pie set with different hair pieces, this is the first time you can actually change the full body.
Rarity's set will feature a short & skirt set, glasses and strawberry (?) skirt set and a formal dress with gold accents. The "Switch 'n Mix Fashions" set of Twilight is bundled with a lab coat outfit, a purple dress and a sweater & skirt set. Aside of these clothing sets you can freely mix up the hairstyles and accessories, although some might fit better than others. As of course you're free to mix up pieces of Rarity and Twilight Sparkle to create a unique character.
We have no further details on the release of these sets aside from Hasbro's initial information: a Fall 2017 release for about $15 per set.

  1. My wallet says no but my heart says yes...

Also, I wish they would stop interchanging Sci Twi and Pony Twi. They're not the same person/pony! Those pictures are from EQG1 when Sci Twi hadn't even been introduced!

    1. I think that with this new packaging with the pony versions they are trying to mix again both worlds.
Either do I like that they are putting Pony Twilight in SciTwi's packaging, on the new singles the images are mixed. It might be to take away this idea of 'fake Twilight' or whatever that people may had come up with.
But it's clearly stated they are totally separated pony/person, so it's kind of a contradiction:/

    2. Same character, really, just with the minor differences that come in the human world and pony world. That's how I see it, anyways.

  2. I do like how they're using Sci Twi's 2017-present outfit instead of reusing Pony Twi's old outfit. I also like how they put the ponies on the packaging as well, which signifies that although they're humans, it's still apart of the MLP franchise as a whole. I'll be picking up Twilight's set when it comes out. Also I think Rarity's "strawberry" outfit is supposed to represent one of those sewing tomatos people use, but it's pretty tacky lol

  4. Yeah, Rarity's dress is based on a tomato pincushion. I like it! ^^

I suppose they could label Sci-Twi as "Human-World Twilight" or something, but for the sake of simplicity and the parents/little girls who're gonna be looking at this stuff, I'm not surprised that they simply slap "Twilight Sparkle" on both human versions of her.

  5. I guess they ran out of ideas for twilight since it looks like she's ready to play both cinderella and snow white. And are those purple garbage bags on Rarity's feet suppose to be boots? Regardless, they will be mine. :)

  6. Also, you can see that twilight has toes. For the twilight packaging, I think it's strange for Twilight in her lab coat to have no shoes. They can use the shoes from her maid costume since it makes more sense for cinderella to have no shoes.
