Images have arrive of 5 upcoming Guardians of Harmony sets, themed after My Little Pony the Movie. From the sets we've at least seen the "Swashbuckler Pirate Airship" and Good vs. Evil sets at
Abrin Toy Fair earlier this year. The two regular figures are brand new.
Starting with the airship, which comes with a unique Rainbow Dash figure, plenty of accessories and rotatable wings. There is also a storage spot on the top for your all the pirate loot. Sadly this set is marked as a Walmart exclusive, so getting your hands on this set might get difficult.
In the second Good vs. Evil set we see Applejack and Boyle as pirates. They're both well equipped with accessories and have multiple points of articulation. A box with 3 figures is available for
pre-order at Entertainment Earth right now for $44.99 (shipping in August).
And finally we have the brand new Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie figures, who also come with a pirate outfit and accessories. Gummy is also included with Pinkie Pie and it even looks like he has a parrot outfit to join the pirate theme. A cool thing about Twilight is that she comes with a cover for her horn to make it look like she's casting some magic. Neat!
Pre-orders for a box with 1 of each is $24.99 and release in July.

So does this mean that list from a while back that had exclusives is now debunked? That's such a shame. I really really hope Rarity gets a GoH soon. This is ridiculous that she's the only M6 without anything now, and 4 of them have duplicates at this point. At least Fluttershy has that SDCC exclusive.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, but I'm still trying to get my fluttershy, now the SDCC exclusive is really expensive for me :/ since I don't live in the US, not all of the vendors would ship her outside, or the shipping is so high u_u and I'm still hunting AppleJack in the mall stores... It would be great if they release fluttershy again as regular, even if she have a little variation from the SDCC one, and yea, we need a Rarity GoH now! hehe. Hugs!
DeleteBy the way, it's nice to have another version for Twilight, since the new one have a happiest face, I'm ok with the first, but I always tough in having another face with a cutter face expression, yay!
