My Little Pony the Movie Tempest Shadow Brushable

The reveal of the "Magic of Everypony" set yesterday was quite a big surprise but it's a clear sign that Target will have an exclusive "line" this year. I was asking myself what we could also expect and I was thinking of several new brushables. Remember that Songbird Serenade one for example? One of our readers has now spotted another new brushable on Ebay of Tempest Shadow and man she's looking awesome. We have the listing here for those interested.
Will she and perhaps Songbird Serenade also be part of the Target Exclusive line? Or is she maybe a Hascon/SDCC/Toys'R'Us Exclusive? We hope to provide you soon with more info!
Thanks to Moonlight Shadow for the heads up!

  2. I think that Hasbro is starting to drop the big guns lately, to decide the fate of the show (the whole G4 actually). The ratings and the sales of the merchandize dropped lately, and now it will ALL depend on how the Movie succedes. If it does, then they could commission a ninth season, otherwise.... well, the S8 will be the last.

    1. Sales and ratings have always fluctuated; the introduction of a new theme causes a surge in sales until it inevitably fizzles out, making place for a new theme. Toy popularity is a cyclical phenomenon and it's a shocker that MLP G4 has survived for as long as it did in this day & age. I don't think they would invest a truck load of money to save a franchise; that would be a desparate and uncertain move. I think this is just their way of keeping MLP fresh. I don't think we're looking at the end of it just yet.

    2. Uhm, you should check the ratings of the S7 thought: some eps were even under the 100k when in S4 and 5 there were even peaks of 700k. Right now MLP is in the same position of LPS2012 when Hasbro ordered the cancellation of the show: the ratings of the S3 were pretty bad and the toys sales pretty modest, and because that Hasbro ordered the cancellation, but the S4 was already commissioned and completely written. And now MLP is in that same position, with one difference: the upcoming theatrical Movie of course. That's the last chance for the series tp get more seasons commissioned. If it fails. It's over.

    3. The staff said themself a billion times that the continuation doesn't depend on the ratings on DC because most of the people watch MLP via Netflix and other official streaming sites these days and the sales are still doing amazing according to the latest investor call.
