Hasbro Reveals 2019 SDCC Exclusive Through The Years Twilight Sparkle
A few minutes ago Hasbro has officially shared images and information on this year's San Diego Comic Con exclusive figure, which is a throwback to the 35th Anniversary of My Little Pony! Twilight Sparkle is combined with her former self, Twilight, in this exclusive Through The Years 2-pack.
The G4 Twilight Sparkle combines an existing 3" body with new face and mane design (with bangs!), while the G1-based Twilight has a brand new pearlized design with the looks of the original pony from the 1980's.
Both come in a combined see-through package showing a design of Twilight on one side and Twilight Sparkle on the other side. Each side also shows the My Little Pony design from their respected era. The set will be available for $19.99 and debut at the San Diego Comic Con. Afterwards the figure will be available on the Hasbro Pulse website while stock lasts.

My Little Pony Classic Series Retro Bubbles Year 2 Earth Pony
Some very big news for the fans of the 35th Anniversary Collector Ponies: Target has listed the Year 2 Earth Ponies and the Year 3 Rainbow Ponies! Although being not available yet it's great to still them still being made after the 35th Anniversary last year. They did change the packaging though as the 35th Anniversary emblem is now gone and replaced with the word "Classic" on the front of the box.

Non-Scented Version of 2nd 35th Anniversary Series Found
We've reached 2019, and officially the year of 35th Anniversary celebration is over, but apparently Target and Basic Fun have one more ace up their sleeves! In a US Target store a re-release of the second 35th Anniversary wave was spotted, but with a little change: they're non-scented! The original series came with parfumed plastic, though people have complained about the effect this has on the plastic itself. For this release it has been confirmed that it's not just updated packaging: the ponies do not have the same smell as the original figures release in 2018.
This second wave also had a shorter shelve live, as they originally only released in Europe and Australia, so this is an extra chance for people in the US to get their collection of retro ponies complete.
Thanks to pink sprinkle for the info & photos!

Coming Next Week: Our Biggest Site Update Ever
It's been a bit quiet on MLP Merch lately, and that's not all down to the fact that there isn't much to report on: We're working very hard to get the biggest update of MLP Merch ever ready for release next week!
Followers of our Twitter might have spotted some teasers hinting on the release, and we're now so close to a release that we'd very much like to share with you what's going on. To get the biggest change out in the open: we're adding the classic G1, G2 and G3 ponies to the database! This allows everyone to finally get a complete checklist and wishlist of ponies outside of just G4 ponies and merch.
Aside from this we're also adding a long awaited feature to the database, namely that of adding personal notes to ponies. Through this way you can keep note of how many ponies you own, if there's anything missing from a set or to keep track of where you bought a pony from.
And there's more that will we added next week, so keep an eye out for the release next week!

We hope that you understand our current lack of posts in favor of this update and are looking forward to the release next week. We'll keep you posted!
