Smashin' Fashion & Best Hair Day Pre-Orders + Happy New Year!

Happy new year everyone! It's been quite a ride the past months, and we hope 2021 will be a healthy year for everyone. There has been a lot of negativity, but for us personally we've also had our share of positive and life-changing moments. Here on MLP Merch we're going to continue for another year of pony merch, and are wondering what's going to happen in May with the NY Toy Fair, which is normally the peak of new announcements.

Because the event is a couple of months later than the regular week in February, we wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro is going to host an online presentation around that time and give a sneak-peak of what we can expect in the Spring 2021. Especially when the new movie and generation is on the horizon!

My Little Pony Smashin’ Fashion Party 2-Pack with Dj Pon-3 and Pinkie Pie

A new set from the Smashin Fashion line has been spotted, and this time on Amazon.
This two-pack features DJ Pon-3 and Pinkie Pie who both come with multiple dresses and other accessories, . We'll now also have official descriptions for these sets as well and they state that they can be displayed on both 2 and 4 legs, so thats pretty cool in my opinion.

The set is listed for $19.99 and currently in stock as well. You can find the listing below as well as more images and the official description.
Thanks to SLPhotos for the heads up!

Hasbro has just released their brand toolkits for 2020 including the one for My Little Pony. Not much new items are actually shown but we do get a look at two new items. The Kiss my Unicorn Princess Celestia and the Unicorn Sparkle collection set featuring Dj Pon-3, Rarity, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie and Twilight Sparkle. What's interesting is how both of these don't feature brushable hair anymore but more show-accurate molded manes. Have all the official info below.

My Little Pony Cutie Mark Crew Series 3 Wedding Bash Blind Bags
Good morning everyone! A few days ago we posted about the third series of the Cutie Mark Crew figures being spotted already in the Philippines. From then on it was only a matter since the first online listings would appear. But now they have been listed on the website of the French Toy Store: King Jouet. I remember going to one of those stores a few years back. You can see it as the French Toys'R'Us Stores being very large shops.

Series 2 Stack'ems Spotted at Walmart
Remember the Stack'ems? These were Tech4Kids' (now Basic Fun) take to rival Disney's Tsum Tsum stackable figures. Back in 2016 they were announced at the Toy Fair, only to be released a whole year later. This year they announced their second series of Stack'em figures, but got overshadowed by Hasbro's own stackable figures: the Cutie Mark Crew blind packs.
Despite that, Basic Fun has continued their promised line-up of Series 2 Stack'em figures, which can now be found at Walmart. There's a total of 12 figures to collect: Cheerilee, DJ Pon-3, Muffins/Derpy, Octavia, Princess Luna and Spike. All in both regular and clear versions.
Thanks to @mlp.collection for the photo!

Exclusive First Look at Cutie Mark Crew Blind Bags!
At the first announcement, only two weeks ago, we've read tons of positive responses on the Cutie Mark Crew series that Hasbro will introduce this year. After a bit of digging we managed to get more information about the first set of blind bags that will be released alongside the 5-packs. And not just any bit of info, but the complete line-up for wave 1 + box design!
The Cutie Mark Crew blind bags line continues with the regular 24 characters per box, but this time you'll get either a pony, seapony or Equestria Girl. In all three categories the mane 6 is featured, but one is missing: a seapony Rarity is not included. This first wave, which is named 'Cafeteria Cuties', the totals come up at 12 ponies, 5 seaponies and 7 Equestria Girls.
Every character comes with a unique accessory and a 'home' in which they fit, and these can be stacked on top of each other to easily store and display your collection of Cutie Mark Crew figures.
Below we have the list of characters that will be included in the first wave, which is expected to be released in May of 2018. Also listed is the official description for this new line of blind bags.

Single Story Packs From Rarity FiM Collection Finally Available
The earlier waves from the Friendship is Magic Collection had a rather consequent release schedule, but with the later sets it has gotten rather random. We've already seen releases from the later Canterlot/Movie line, while some people were still waiting for the final sets from the previous series to be released.
Luckily the older set is not forgotten and the Single Story Packs from the Rarity series are now available on Amazon. The four figures are sold individually for $8.95 each and come with unique molds and accessories fitting the characters. Listings for all figures can be found below!
Thanks to SLPhotos for the heads-up!
