We just moved to our new home, and what's a better start than a review of the second Kwistal Fwenz series in a freshly decorated room? Yes, we received a review box with thanks to the people at Mighty Jaxx, so let's take a look at what's all new with the cute crystal ponies.

But before we start, know what you can get $10 off your order over $100 at Mighty Jaxx (applicable site-wide) if you use our referral link.

Originally planned for 22 June, but they managed to get enough stock and orders can be placed right now for both the full box and single packs.

Mighty Jaxx Announces Kwistal Fwenz Series Two

After releasing two waves of Hidden Dissectibles, Mighty Jaxx started a brand new series of My Little Pony figures at the end of last year with the Kwistal Fwenz. While this was a surprising move from Mighty Jaxx, knowing their regular line-up, it did turn out to be a success and that's why we can now share the second series with you!

Hasbro Used Blind Bag Molds Outside of MLP Brand

Alright time for a short blog outside of what we normally post. This isn't about official MLP releases, nor is it about fakes, but sort of something in between?
It didn't catch our attention, but last year Hasbro released a new version of Monopoly Junior: Unicorn Edition. While that is normally something that won't be featured on our blog anyway, but there's an interesting twist when looking at the included figures. Yes, those are re-used G4.5 blind bag figures!
(Thanks to decismuchjuvenile for the heads-up)

12-Pack of G4.5 Blind Bags Already at Walmart
Earlier this week we found the first image of the brand new G4.5 blind bags set online, and just before the new year Walmart already released them in stores! (And Amazon now, too)
There's only one odd thing here: the set that was found on the shelves is a 12-pack, whereas the US normally gets a full 24-pack, just like the images we found earlier. Not only that, but the packaging only features English and French text, not Spanish as US releases usually have.
These 12-pack releases with two languages is commonly released in the UK, so it is possible that this set that hit the stores is a mix-up.
The figures included are the first set we posted in our previous post containing Tank, Winona, (brown) Angel, Opalescence, Lyra, Amethyst Star, unknown green pony, Gummy, Potion Nova, Cha Cha, a hippopotamus and Rarity.
While the Cutie Mark Crew confetti is gone, these new blind bags do come with another (potentially even messier) way of opening them: water! You can flip open the potion bottles, pour in some water, and after shaking them for a while the dust should dissolve and the pony will be revealed. Just make sure you close the potion bottle tight before shaking! (See photo and video of this below)
Update: First wave of Magical Potion Surprise is now on Amazon for just $2.99 each. Listing mentions 24 figures in contrast to the split box found in stores.

Thanks to SLPhotos for the photos & videos!

Hasbro Shows Cutie Mark Crew Series 6 Figures
Hasbro is on a roll with Cutie Mark Crew announcements and releases this month! After the listing for series 5 blind packs and two multi-packs we're already seeing official information and photos on the 6th series of blind packs on the My Little Pony website. This brand new series will feature similar gradient finishes as the 5th series and all ponies come with fashion-themed accessories like skirts, shoes, hats and pearl necklaces.
No details on the in-store release has been given so far, but seeing as this info is already up on Hasbro's own sites, we expect this set to be available not too far in the 3rd quarter of this year. Possible only weeks after the first findings of the 5th series.

MLP Reboot Series Maud Pie Brushable

Lots of new Brushables have been spotted on Taobao! At first we have a better look at some of the All About Brushables for the movie, but some other interesting news is that three new brushables have been spotted as well. The first one is a Princess Celestia with Tinsel Hair and painted accessories like her necklace. Her hooves are also covered in glitter.
The next two are perhaps even more interesting since Maud Pie and Coco Pommel join the new molds. Currently their release is unknown but we still have to see if Toys'R'Us and Target will be getting special releases. (we also still have that Songbird Serenade Brushable) With the SDCC coming up soon I think we'll here more info later.

Over at Target in the US you can now get the latest waves of the My Little Pony Squish Pops and Fash'ems figures by Tech4Kids. While we already had some info on the 6th wave of Fash'ems (which has the same figures as wave 5, but with a clear finish), the Series 4 release of the Squish Pops is completely new.
The latest wave of the small squishy figures introduces the first flocked figures and some new characters as well. Below we have more details on the included figures for each wave.
Thanks to Anto for the images!
