My Little Pony NY Toy Fair 2019 Wrap-Up
It's February, and that means New York Toy Fair time! Although, this year is quite different from earlier installments (2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 & 2014) as it's accompanied by the official statement from Hasbro that the upcoming 9th season of Friendship is Magic will be the final one for the generation. Everything points towards an upcoming 5th generation afterwards, but you'll find no hint of that on the fair this year. Instead it's a line-up that pretty much covers everything that has been announced in the past few weeks, including the recent waves of Cutie Mark Crew and brushables that were released in late 2018.
Though, we do see some new sets on display at the fair this year, with the 2019 series called "Rainbow Road Trip" which ties in with an upcoming special. And there's some amazing news from other companies too, including Kidrobot, who are releasing their first My Little Pony figures this year!

Not long ago the 5-packs of the 3rd Series of the Cutie Mark Crew figures were found early at Target. But now a Vietnamese website called "My Kingdom" has listed both 5-packs with some very nice stock images. I'll include the listings below:

Beach Day to be the Series 4 Cutie Mark Crew Blind Bags Theme
I just stumbled upon a very interesting listing on Amazon Canada. It appears this is the placeholder listing for the fourth series of the Cutie Mark Crew Figures. To me it doesn't come as much of a surprise since the third series has already been found in stores. Makes me think that just like the later Blind Bags they want 2 or 3 series/waves released each year.

First of all, I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving and scored perhaps some good deals during Black Friday. Anyway Entertainment Earth has listed (and updated) two new items.

Are There Codes to Identify Cutie Mark Crew Blind Packs?
Since a few days the Cutie Mark Crew blind packs are starting to appear in shops around the world. In the US both Target and Walmart have them in stock, and we've got reports from the UK, mainland Europe and various countries in Asia too. Since these are the replacement for the blind bag waves we've gotten tons of requests about identifying figures without opening the capsules.
Luckily we've found some blind packs here on our holiday in Austria, so it's time for a bit of research!

Exclusive First Look at Cutie Mark Crew Blind Bags!
At the first announcement, only two weeks ago, we've read tons of positive responses on the Cutie Mark Crew series that Hasbro will introduce this year. After a bit of digging we managed to get more information about the first set of blind bags that will be released alongside the 5-packs. And not just any bit of info, but the complete line-up for wave 1 + box design!
The Cutie Mark Crew blind bags line continues with the regular 24 characters per box, but this time you'll get either a pony, seapony or Equestria Girl. In all three categories the mane 6 is featured, but one is missing: a seapony Rarity is not included. This first wave, which is named 'Cafeteria Cuties', the totals come up at 12 ponies, 5 seaponies and 7 Equestria Girls.
Every character comes with a unique accessory and a 'home' in which they fit, and these can be stacked on top of each other to easily store and display your collection of Cutie Mark Crew figures.
Below we have the list of characters that will be included in the first wave, which is expected to be released in May of 2018. Also listed is the official description for this new line of blind bags.
