Last week we asked you for your definite verdict on the MLP K'NEX sets: are you going to buy any? After the release of the K'NEX sets the sentiment went downhill and over 40% of you don't like K'NEX (anymore). 13% of you are still enthusiastic and are going to buy all of the sets, while another 7% would like one or two of them. 29% of the voters will be waiting until they appear in physical stores or wait fora good sale, and 8% of the respondents do not like the announced sets at all.
This week we'd like to know how far away you live from your favorite merch store! We in The Netherlands live pretty close to... well... practically everywhere, but we can imagine that other countries are a bit more stretched out. Voted for within 10 miles. It may actually be 15 miles. I live here in central Jersey and my two favorite stores within the 10-15 mile range is Target and Toys R Us.
Target always gets cool Pony stuff and exclusives, that's within 10 miles. Toys R Us in Freehold, NJ is a treat. Very awesome store with lots of interactive stuff. They even had an interactive MLP display with bios (as of this post, they don't have it anymore) and a great MLP selection. TRU is within 15 miles, and is worth the trip!
I wish I could say Hot Topic as there is one near that TRU, but they haven't gotten any MLP shirts in over a year. :( I tend to go online for MLP shirts, usually the usual shops (WeLoveFine and Zazzle), sometimes Target or Kohl's (few times their site had a men's size MLP shirt), but I've bought shirts from the MLP Merch store. :) Wish more stores would sell guy sized MLP shirts too, since I love wearing them.
My favourite merch store is Toys R Us and it's located 2.7 Miles away (or a 9 minute drive in Canadian :P )It usually has the new stuff hit it first in my town, hence why I send all my new-findings pics to Ossie and Ilona from TRU.
In London, Ontario we don't have many different places to buy ponies. Mainly only Toys R Us and Walmart stock them, but there are a few other places like MindGames for TY ponies, EBGames for random mlp merch and a local comic book store sometimes gets new pony things like mystery minis boxes and of course comics (my fiancee collects the pony comics) and even sometimes rare pony items like a MIB SDCC muffins (got it for $40)
Luckily my fiancee also loves ponies so he doesn't mind driving me around to do recon and/or shopping trips.
My favorite merch store is Target. I feel like when it comes to exclusives, they've put more thought into them than any other stores. Plus they always tend to be the first ones to get the new stuff, and it's right next to my school, so i can go whenever i want.
Same here target is my favorite store to get the new mlp mercy but lately they haven't been selling the wave 17 mlp blind bags tho BTW target always get new mlp merchandise before Walmart does
I'm 2.2 miles from Target; only takes about 10-15 minutes to get there. However, I pretty much rely on Amazon and eBay because, why not? ;D Also, Mighty/We Love Fine has some awesome pony t-shirt designs; I've got four shirts plus leggings, a beanie, a messenger bag, and other stuff from them. =]
Yeah so far target has not been selling any new wave 17 blind bag ponies so I'm purchasing my wave 17 and wave 18 mlp blind bags on Amazon next month I'm probably going to wait for target to get wave 19 mlp blind bags in by march or april
