The next My Little Pony generation is planned to release in early 2027, and while we had some information on the show already, no concrete information on toys was released yet. Until today because listings have popped up on wholesale site Southern Hobby!
It's still too early for photos, but we do get product names that give a slight indication of what we can expect, as well as a planned release date. In total 5 product types are included in this line-up:
- Acrylic Display Moments (Blind bags with 2" pony and card)
- Stackable Story World (Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle)
- Lux Locks Pony 6" Brushable (Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle)
- Bag Charm Pony 3" Clip (Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle)
- Mix 'n Match Story Pony (unknown assortment)
The first entry indicates the return of blind bags, though the PVC ponies are now replaced with acrylic stands. Stackable Story Worlds are expected to be small playsets and Lux Locks is the new name for Fashion Style ponies.
Bag charms are usually released as licensed products, but this time it's Hasbro themselves who are going to release them. Wether these will be plastic or plush is still unknown.
What the Mix 'n Match Story Pony is going to be is going to be anyone's guess. It could be a dress-up pony, or perhaps ponies with interchangeable parts?
All products currently have a release date of July 15th. This seems to be relatively late compared to the expected start of the G6 show, so take this date with a grain of salt.
