October My Little Pony Comic Update

We've decided to save up the comic posts for one big announcement blog like this one. We've seen that comics posts are a bit less popular than our regular posts, but we still want to get the info out.
Below we have all releases and announcements from October. Enjoy!

Friendship is Magic #50 Announced

And we're at the 50th issue of the main FiM Series and as expected it gets celebrated with an extra-thick comic! The comic, written by Ted Anderson with art by Andy Price, will get an extra 8 pages of content to celebrate this special occasion. The regular 3 covers are made by Andy Price (A & SUB) and Sara Richard (RI). More info below:

Friends Forever #36 Announced

The 36th issue for the Friends Forever Series has now also been announced and this time we'll see quite a popular duo within the Fandom: Rainbow Dash and Soarin as the two embark on a dangerous mission. It's written by Christina Rice and the artist will be Tony Fleecs. There will be three covers, the regular one by Tony Fleecs, the Subscription one by Sara Richard and Retailer Incentive one by Low Zi Rong. The issue will be released January 2017.

Rainbow Dash travels to a remote and dangerous location and finds her fellow Wonderbolt, Soarin, is about to undertake a dangerous mission. Will Dash be able to get over her ego help her fellow Pegasus?

Something strange about this comic is that it seems like Previews World used another summary for this comic, being:

Join the Guardians of Harmony on their quest to protect Equestria from nefarious villains! Featuring six short stories focusing on action and adventure by your favorite MLP creative teams!
•   Ties into the new MLP Guardians of Harmony toy line!
•   Part of IDW's 2017 Annual Offensive! Over-sized and action-packed key stories in a deluxe format!

While we think this is a mix-up with the upcoming Guardians of Harmony comic, it could be that this comics includes a little extra. We'll see in January!

Friends Forever Omnibus #2

Another new thing is that the second Friends Forever Omnibus has announced. This Omnibus includes Friends Forever Issues #13 - #22 and the cover is made by Jay P. Fosgitt. You can pre-order it now on Amazon for $24.99.

Friendship is Magic Paperback #11 Coming January

Is it already time for an 11th paperback!? Yes, in the beginning of January a new paperback of the main comic line will be released, bundling the FiM comics #43-#47. As usual this paperback is only available with 1 cover by Tony Fleecs.

Friendship is Magic #47 now Released

The 47th issue of the main Friendship is Magic Series has also been released. This one is the second part of the Ponyville Elections story arc. Three covers are available for this issue:

• The regular cover by Agnes Garbowska
• The Subscription cover by Lupi McGinty
• The Retailer Incentive cover by Sara Richard

Friends Forever #33 Released

And just like the FiM series, the Friends Forever series also saw a new release this months. This time it's number 33, which is all about Applejack and Cherry Jubilee (been a while since we saw her!).
This comic also comes in three variants: The regular cover (Tony Fleecs), a Retailer Incentive (RI) cover (Trish Forstner) and a subscription one (Sarah Richard). All info below:
