My Little Pony Children Phones Released in China

Nowadays it's getting more and more common to see children walk around with a smartphone. But there's still an age range that's usually not so easily trusted with the latest $999 model. There are still feature phones that are cheaper and have less functions, but there's a tiny niche for children-targeted phones too. In that last category we can now welcome official My Little Pony phones, released in China by The Ore Mouse.

The phones are pretty much what you might expect from a MLP kid phone: it's a small phone with cute bright colors, and it's even customizable with included stickers. The color, decals and wallpaper all match a single pony, as well as the included case/grip.
Feature-wise it's pretty limited, but this was done for a purpose. To protect kids, these phones are mainly regulated by a whitelist of contacts that a parent with a smartphone can manage. Still, the MLP phones can make and receive calls, send texts, audio messages and photos taken with the 0.3MP camera. Parents have a feature to block the phone at certain times too, for example to prevent kids from texting while at school. GPS and BeiDou is built in, but location tracking is meant for the management app on the parents phone only.
With a 1.33" screen that consists of 240x240 pixels it will surely take a while before you need to recharge the 1100mAh battery, though I couldn't find an estimate in talk or standby time.
This all comes at a that price is a tad higher than you might expect for those features, as it costs the equivalent of 130 US dollars. If you do want one, keep in mind that at the moment these are only available on the Chinese market, so don't expect an English interface.

Right now Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle variants of the phone are available, but in the original announcement phones styled after Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash were shown too.
