In yesterday's
Random Tuesday. We talked about some new MLP Fakies. We also talked about Fake Blind Bags a while ago. (
Article here) But to wrap things up all in one. I searched around the Internet and collected all sorts of pictures of Fakies, Ponies AND Dolls. So prepare yourself for some WTF?-Moments and join us to the realm of fakies!

| G4 Fashion Style Fakies |
First off we have these 3 Fashion Style sized Ponies, the brand that makes them is unknown but they are just called "My Little Pony" on the box. All 3 of them have Fluttershy's cutie mark and Pinkie Pie's eyes. The pony comes with different accessories and a comb. The box of this thing is hilarious by the way. It seems like some of the Mane Six have turned alicorn as well!

Next up we have these 2 Fashion Style fakies which resemble Rarity and Applejack. They aren't called My Little Pony here but "My Little Funny" or "My Funny. It seems like Rarity's cutie mark started to mutate on her body though. The Applejack looks kinda cute in my Opinion and could be a good substitute for the official one which is really hard to find these days. The accessories that come with all of them seems to have a fruit-based theme. I personally think these fakies are pretty well made.

Next up we have a fakie called "Mini Funny Horse" they use almost identical packaging as the first wave of the MLP brushables. Only the pony on the front seems to be based of a G3.5 Pony. As for the pony itself, it really looks like a hybrid of G3.5 and G4. The body looks really like a 3.5 one but the head and eyes resemble the G4 style. She comes with a tutu a comb and a hair accessory.

Different to “My Lovely Horse” and “My Lovely Horses” in that it omits the “My” from the packaging. The Lovely Horse fakies are Fashion Style fakes that come packaged together. Only one variant of the “Lovely Horse” fakies are known, and that is the one that contains a purple and pink Fasion Style fakie. The most notable thing about this fakie is that the eyes of these fakies are different from the majority of G4 fakies, preferring a more solid colouring where the whites of their eyes should be. These fakies come in packaging similar to the Fashion Style ponies only with G 3.5 art vectors and “Lovely Horse” logo where the G4

Here we have 2 another "Lovely Horse" fakies which closely resemble G4 Ponies. And in my opinion these looks really cute! They come with fish and bath accessories like a fish and starfish.

Next up: Pony Playset” Poundland/Funtastic Fakies. These fakies come in solid pink packaging, with
rainbows and pink hearts galore. These fakies are knockoffs of Fluttershy that come in blue/white, pink and sea-green. These ponies come with a Mirror and brush as accessories. It is not known if these fakies have symbols/cutie mark or not.

Here we have The “Cute Pony” which come packaged with the “Cute Pony” title. These fakies are use the Playful Pony molds from the official Hasbro toy-line. The two know “Cute Pony” fakies are a Rarity knockoff with pink hair (two variants) and a pink pony with purple hair.

“My Lovely Horses” is an established fakie brand , making G3 fakies in the past. Seems like they now make G4 ones. The Yellow Twilight Sparkle Fakie is also from this company/The Rarity is a FS Rarity with less hair and comes with a Hasbro Fashion Style mold comb and hair clips. The packages of these fakies are direct rips of the G4 packages, and has “please take me home!” printed on the box multiple times.

Next up we have "Taobao Fakies" These Fakies are called like that because they have been found on Taobao, Alibaba or in various Chinese knockoff products. The ones known so far are a pink and purple alicorn with G3 style wings, G1 style pose (similar to Whizzer) and a G4 styled head, while the Blue, Yellow and Purple unicorns are in the standard G4 pose. There has also been found a White Rarity one with golden decals on her body. Their cutie marks/symbols are stenciled spray paint rather than decals. Due to the fact that these ponies have been found in multiple different packages, there is no set product in which they can be found.

Here we have Munchkin GloPonies. These fakies were also found on Taobao, but these
fakies are unique in that a part of their body lights up. The two known ones, an Earth Pony and Alicorn, lights up in the head and wings respectively. These fakies are odd in that while they have spray painted cutie marks/symbols like most other Chinese fakes they have a decal of a butterfly on their eyelash. The molds of these ponies have shorter legs than most hence the nickname of “munchkin”. It is unknown what packaging or come with this fakie. The variation of this pony that glows also plays music.

Next up: Munchkin Ponies 2: Electric Boogaloo. These ponies were found on Alibaba along other fakies. These ponies seem to be related to the “Munchkin Glo-Ponies” in the terms on that they use the same mold, but it is unknown if the glow in the dark or not. These fakies come in Purple, White and Pink and all have the same hair colours and cutie marks/symbols. These ponies come carded with G3 and G 3.5 art and dolls as the cart art. All three come with a lucky 4 leaf clover.

| Munchkin Ponies 2: Electric Boogaloo |
There has also been found a yellow pony found which light up and plays sound. But they are not part of the same brand as the Gloponies. In fact there's also a purple one floating around. Both of these come in some strange packaging which features Twilight Sparkle with in the background her Equestria Girls Counterpart. Other ponies in these line includes some Ponies with Littles Pet Shop Rip-off animals and body shapes.

It doesn't stop with the Ponies! Since the release of Equestria Girls there have been a lot of Equestria Girls fakies. And boy can these ones be hilarious sometimes. Liek this one, the doll clearly seems to be based of Twilight Sparkle on a non MLP Mold Fakie/ But the thing that makes this thing is the packaging. We have an Equestria Girls Twilight on the box with a human toned face and then we have Applejack with Rainbow Dash colours, and they really screwed up here. Look at those reversed eye colors!

From here it seems like there is no known brand who makes all these fakies. So I'm just gonna leave you guys with all these fakies to look at. Judge for yourself what you think of them.

And at last we have these molded Equestria Girls Fakies which have been popping up a lot these weeks. The face molds look really strange, they remind me of Shrek. and some of the clothing seemed to be swapped.

ReplyDeleteThis link leads to another Fun Lovely Pony thingie... Five fake EQG dolls. The boxes all say "Twilight Sparkle", however they all include a different doll and strangely have a Rainbow Rocks decoration on the box(With a pink Fluttershy). They also look made from a very poor material and it seems like they will break as you get'em out of the box.
The first is an Applejack with an unexpected pink fairy dress, A green braid hair extension,some stickers and a blue comb.
The second one is actually a Twilight Sparkle with creepy hair and an odd dress. The Rainbow Rocks decorations are different on this one, as it has tan-skinned Twilight and Rainbow Dash and also an Applejack. It comes with the same accessories as the first one.
The third is a creepy Rarity. Same accessories.
The fourth is another Rarity, but doesn't seem to come with a comb. It still includes two extensions for her hair.
The fifth is the same Applejack, but it has a blue dress and a red/pink extension.

And last but not least this "Dreamlike Homestead". Well, it wouldn't be dreamlike to live on a suitcase. Anyway, this one comes with a lot of Strawberry Shortcake ripoffs, and so two fake ponies.
When I look at Taobao, it feels like I'm on that stores near my house that sell cheap toys and all that stuff.

Is it wrong I'd like to buy all except one of the EQG toys here? The white one is my favorite, and the first pony made me laugh. Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer must have used some sort of fusing spell! X'D
