Because of the rising amount of visitors and support from all of you, we were able to buy some more
MLP Micro Legends figures! And luckily the box was almost empty so we took the whole box (with about 6 more balls in it) to the cash register, and we were allowed to take it with us! And because of these new Micro Legends figures our collection is now complete, so we can present to you: The complete collection Micro Legends Wave 1 figures + photos op opening the box and freeing the promo Rainbow Dash figure!
All Micro Legends Figures
The first wave of Micro Legends contain the full mane 6 in both a normal and a clear variant. While most cutie marks only contain 1 color (like Pinkie Pie), Rainbow Dash has an accurate multi-color mark. The overall paintjob on the figures is pretty good for their size, but some figures might have minor scratches or paint errors. The figures stand well on themselves, but putting them on the ball can be tricky because they tend to pop out of the pins.
The Display Box
Before opening, let's take a good look at the box. It has a unique extra high shape, which I have never seen before, especially the promotional figure at the top. The design is pretty basic for Rainbow Power merch, it's probably straight from the licensee toolkit.
The front states that the clear ponies are 'special', but don't be fooled: we actually got more clear figures than normal ones! The front also shows all the normal figures and how they can be applied on the ball. And at the bottom we have some very big warnings, because these figures are really small!
The back of the box shows all production information: Made in China, manufactured by Enertec Hong Kong, imported by Toys2Get and of course licensed by Hasbro.
The sides and top are just the basic Rainbow Power background and another Pinkie Pie vector.
Opening The Box / Releasing Rainbow Dash
You might think that the Rainbow Dash figure is just a piece of cardboard, but it's actually a regular figure. And since our collection was still missing a normal Rainbow Dash, we had to get it out!
Below you'll see the steps required to get Rainbow Dash out without damaging the box:
|
Yep, that's Rainbow Dash. Now let's get her out of there! |
|
Step 1: Remove some tape to open up the top of the box. |
|
Step 2: Remove some more tape on the inside and take the cardboard square out. |
|
Step 3: Cut another tape and remove the plastic cover that is wrapped around the figure. |
|
Step 4: Pop Rainbow Dash out of the plastic, and done! |
|
Step 5: Optionally, bend the plastic figure holder and place another pony inside! |
