Just like the other Basic Dolls, Twilight Sparkle has molded hair, with a single lock of brushable hair at the back, a painted on shirt and plastic skirt. Somehow her molded hair makes me think of a French hair-do, but I don't know why!
This photo was spotted on Allegro, a Polish eBay-like website (thanks to the Anonymous poster for letting us know!) and we're not sure about her in-store status, but I bet it won't take too long before these pop up in Brazil, Mexico and European countries, just like with the first wave. A little while later popped up in the Unites States too, mainly at Dollar Tree and Dollar General (so keep an eye out for this doll the coming few weeks).

ReplyDeleteShe looks rather nice. I'm still not gonna buy her or other basic dolls though. I prefer the more expensive ones with more details and real hair.

Also, her hair is shorter than other dolls. I know for sure that Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy have longer hair, to their feet I think.
They were available in Polish stores two months ago, for Children's Day, and there was Applejack too.
