MLP Equestria Girls Minis Apple Jack School Dance Set
Two of the several new Equestria Girls Minis items that have been shown during the NY Toy Fair have now been listed on Amazon together with images. We already knew during the fair that the minis would get two different themes, both from the first movie. The first theme is the School Pep Rally Theme (Help Twilight Win the Crown) and the second theme is the School Dance which appeared at the end of the movie.
More of these minis with these themes have been announced but they have yet to appear on Amazon. Also these two aren't available for order yet, they probably will this summer/fall. We'll keep you updated. Have the images and descriptions below.

  2. So we know now that the announced "pearluscent" actually meant glitter in the case of the Fall Formal figures.

  3. I wonder if they did anything about the fact that the figures break the second they're in your hands. They have horrible reviews everywhere from parents and bronies complaining that the legs fall off instantly.

    1. I don't understand that. :P I bought the sleepover Twilight and I haven't had any major issues with her. All my EqG dolls are in great condition.

    2. I've got them all and they're perfectly fine, but i'm an adult. Any children who aren't careful with them will easily break them. They're not built for the kind of play children may do.

  4. Yes, hopefully they fixed the issue with the legs breaking off very easily...otherwise we will not be buying anymore of these figures...

    1. I've been customizing the heck out of these figures and putting a LOT of strain on the joints while doing so. Haven't had a single one break on me yet.

Enough people seem to be having problems, though, so I hope Hasbro swaps out the hip joints for ball joints.

I know there's no way they would add in the extra peg joint necessary to give the legs a decent range of movement (and that's probably where the breaking problem comes from - people trying to force the legs to bend in ways the joints can't go). Going with a ball joint instead instead of a swivel and a peg would offer a far greater range of movement, allow for easier customization, make the wobbly hips much easier to fix (if it was a problem at all after that), and straight up solve this issue of legs breaking off. With a ball joint, they don't break, they pop off. And if they pop off, you just pop them back on.

    1. They seem to have them in UK. I don't know much about it because I just saw review for Rarity one, and I don't live in UK.:/
