About 2 months ago we reported that Hasbro was expanding their basic/budget doll line
with the addition of Rarity. Since then we wondered if Applejack and Twilight would also be made. Seems like the answer is yes! This image was found on the website of Biedronka. It is the biggest chain of no frills supermarkets in Poland. They actually look kinda nice! (Even when they added Pinkie Pie 2 times instead of Fluttershy...)
So with that said it seems like the whole mane six is now part of the new budget line. We have no idea when these will hit the stores in the US but we keep you guys up to date. If they arrive in the US you will find them most likely in several budget stores like Dollar General

DeleteI bought two of them as a present for my niece, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. She also got Twilight from her mother. They are not perfectly done, painting of the eyes/cutie marks on cheek are smeared, or whatever. Pinkie's and Fluttershy's plastic hair are messed up in one place. And if I recall correctly, Pinkie's cutie mark has 3 blue balloons, and not 2 blue, 1 yellow. You can take off their skirts. Well, overall, for that price (23 PLN), they are okay dolls. Especially for children that just want to have MLP toys.
ReplyDeleteThe worst thing is what they did to Rainbow Dash. Like, who is that? When my niece and I saw this picture, it took us some time to guess that the blue doll was actually Rainbow Dash.
