The teaser images shows a highly detailed Equestria Girls Pinkie Pie, but also a regular pony version of her. It's unknown if these will be combined in a single figure, or if both will be released as separate statues. Personally I wouldn't mind either option!
At the time of writing no further information on release dates, prices or actual product designs is known. But once the release is inbound, there's some good news for oversees fans: The statues of Kotobukiya are usually well available outside of Japan.
Thanks to Ayu, Amanda & shadowcat456 for the heads-up!
Coming to Kotobukiya's ever-growing line of Bishoujo statues are some of your favorite childhood brands, MY LITTLE PONY and GI JOE! Under license from Hasbro these highly collectible statues will offer consumers their favorite Hasbro characters re-imagined by master illustrator Shunya Yamashita and sculpted by Kotobukiya artisans in Japan.
An anime EQg???? It's now official!!! too bad i'm broke to even afford one.
ReplyDeleteOh boy, I can't wait for it to be only Pinkie, Rainbow and Twilight... again...
ReplyDeleteHooraaayyy...
DeleteKotobukiya isn't like that, if they sell good this one, they will eventually realease all the mane 6, and if the good salles keep high, they would release more characters!
DeleteKnowing the Kotobukiya figures, I'm pretty sure the pony and the Eq-Girl will be combinend in one figure. Notice that the human Pinkie is in a pose of jumping, she will use de pony as a stand, check how the hair of the pony will suport the skirt, and the tail will support the left boot, letting the human figure actually "float" in the air or so.

ReplyDeleteI Approve!
ReplyDeleteThe current drawing looks very nice. I wish the same for the final product.

ReplyDeleteUmm, no. Actually, no. The bootlegs - yes. :/
Does that count for western series too? I was in the understanding that those were imported a lot.
DeleteI want twily!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the characters will retain their colorful skin colors or will they be converted to realistic skin colors. The drawing seems to indicate the latter.
ReplyDeleteI want Fluttershy!!! 💙💜💚💛💕💖💘💝💓💞💗😍
