G3 Retro Ponies Now Available at Target

For most people, it's probably pretty minor. Her mane is pink/green/yellow/orange instead of pink/orange/yellow/green like she had originally. It's one of my pet peeves to have out-of-order colors in a "rainbow." I actually think the colors are still pretty together, and I could overlook it if it was a rainbow sherbet pony or something else that doesn't directly relate to the rainbows in the sky, but this is Rainbow Dash, who has a bold, colorful Cutie Mark of such a rainbow... It's not okay to me.
I was hoping it was an error on the prototype, but somehow it got overlooked. I'm confused as to how, as it's a pretty common peeve... But if you think she's fine, it's fine with me! As for me, I'm currently trying to work out how hard it would be to pull her hair out of her neck and reroot it properly... I think I'll just try to get an original. If I get any of these, I'll go after Fluttershy.

I don't want to seem like I need you to agree with me or that I'm forcing my opinion on you, but...
Unless you prefer the inaccurate hair to the original colors (Applejack's half-and-half instead of stripes and pink/green/yellow/orange instead of pink/orange/yellow/green on Rainbow Dash), there's really no reason to buy those two. You can find the original versions for much cheaper in good condition. The most worthwhile one here is Fluttershy, as her pink stripe tends to fade to white (this also applies to Pinkie Pie, but she's got no tinsel and is painfully abundant elsewhere). I honestly expected better after the G1s were so good... For $10, they could have at least included the pony charms since G3s are smaller.
Of course, that's just my opinion. Maybe you feel $10 is worth it to have a perfectly mint version of a discontinued pony. Maybe your skin doesn't crawl when something claiming to be a rainbow has the colors out of order. And that's okay! Go ahead and pursue these, and good luck if you do! I just wanted to make sure you were aware of the inaccuracies and the alternatives.

Heck, I'd rather have seen G2s than G3s. They're not as common secondhand, and I only have one (unless you count all three McD's ponies that saw release in the US). They seem more necessary to me.

Hasbro is the ones giving them the license to do that tho, it's still their property after all.

Hasbro gave them the license. That's it. They're not telling Basic Fun what to produce. Basic Fun knows what the community wants and delivers it, they're just doing it under Hasbro's permission. That does not mean Hasbro is caring.

If Hasbro cared so much they'd do it themselves and take the financial risk. By licensing they don't have any skin in the game they get their cash no matter what.
