After releasing limited editions of Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle in 2020 it's now time for a limited-run version of the Fluttershy bishoujo statue, which was announced earlier today on Kotobukiya's own Twitter.
The Limited Edition figure features a different skin tone, which now better matches that of Equestria Girls Fluttershy and the mane, hair and base are made of translucent material filled with glitters. Below we have some more detailed photos of the figure, as well as a comparison with the original Fluttershy bishoujo statue.
Just like the others, this Fluttershy statue will see a limited production run of 1500 pieces, for which pre-orders are now open with an expected release date in Q3 2021. Right now BigBadToyStore and Slideshow have it listed, more retailers will probably follow soon.

Am I the only one that can only seem to think of jaundice when I see this? It’s overall very pretty, but the colorful skintones worked better on Twilight and Pinkie Pie in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI think the issue is the yellow ruffles on the yellow skin, the same design in the series has them green, and it makes the yellow skin stand out more.
