My Little Pony x Potato Head McDonalds Happy Meal Figures
Almost every year McDonalds releases a My Little Pony-themed set in their Happy Meals. 2022 is no exception, however, this year we got something different:

Instead of this years figures being just My Little Pony, this year it's a crossover with the Potato Head line. You can get Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie or Rainbow Dash as a Potato Head toy and you'll be able to swap their body parts such as their hair and bodies. Alongide My Little Pony, Transformer toys are also available.

So far these have been spotted at McDonalds UAE (United Arab Emirates) with Pinkie Pie being available last week and this week it's Rainbow Dash. It's unsure if other Middle Eastern Countries carry this promotion as well and if other countries in the rest of the world will also get these. If you spot them please let us know!

Thanks a lot to Nyaton for the heads up!

  2. These look so fun! I wonder if they're compatible with Hasbro's Mixable Mashable Heroes, since they look so similar.

  3. For the record, this set has also shown up in Pakistan (in February), South Africa, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, among other countries. We'll probably see this in different countries over the next few months.

  4. Uh... Wow. I wish I could unsee these. Even if these end up in the US, I'll be skipping these.

On an unrelated note, I'd like to report a few errors in your G5 plush database. The image for Just Play's Hitch is under Hunter Leisure, whose design for Hitch remains unshown. Play by Play and Famosa are separate when they are one and the same. Finally, the alicorn Sunny plush is missing from Famosa's lineup. I wasn't sure if you were aware of these, but if you are, I do apologize!

In plush news, the Play by Play website has updated the images for both plush sets, with the brushables being the same image used on Famosa's site and the "molded" hair ponies showing a slightly updated design, with the eyes spaced differently.

Famosa's site shows kids playing with the toys, which doesn't do anything, really, but give a sense of scale and confirm that alicorn Sunny is smaller than the others.

Finally, the recycled plushies by Character are available on Amazon UK.

I hope this helps you guys!

    1. Actually, the Famosa site seems to show a larger Pipp rather than a smaller alicorn Sunny. Compare the lone Pipp with the picture of Pipp and earthling Sunny- the lone Pipp is clearly larger (the normal ones are only supposed to be 25 cm). Perhaps we're getting a larger release?
