Cutie Mark Magic Name Returns For New Set of Figures
Earlier today we wrote about the new See Your Sparkle Izzy figure, but apparently that wasn't all for today! Just a couple of hours later the same website now also lists a set of 4 "Cutie Mark Magic" ponies. And no, this isn't a reboot of the 2014 toy line, but only used as the name for these 4 figures with interchangeable cutie marks. All ponies have semi-translucent manes and come with a total of 16 accessories each. Just like the other 3" ponies that have been announced recently, these feature the same Hoof to Heart ability to hold some of these accessories. The ponies also interact with the Musical Mane Melody stage for character-specific sounds.

For this set Izzy, Pipp, Sunny and Zipp have been announced, leaving Hitch out of the line-up. Seeing as we're still in May, there is a chance that Hitch could see a release in a second wave this fall, but that's no guarantee.

The MSRP is set for £8.99 in the UK, which would currently convert to just over 11 USD. Below we have the official description and of course pictures of all included ponies.

  1. Hm, they have brushable tails. One easy headswap away from articulated brushables. Neat.

    1. Though why they didn't just go the whole hog and give them brushable manes is beyond me. Well, variation is variation, I guess. I'll keep my fingers crossed for new characters.

  2. It bugs me a little that these only have brushable tails, too. I don't mind non-brushable ponies (although I prefer brushable for the sake of customization), but a non-brushable mane but a brushable tail is definitely not my cup of tea. This isn't technically entirely new as I believe the McDonald's toys weren't full brushable, but that does feel a little different and I'm not sure if I liked it there, either.

  3. Is it just me or does the "hoof to heart" thing make no sense? They have had holes in their hooves since 2021 and im pretty sure they have accessories that they are able to hold already

    1. Not like G4 was any different with eternal Mane6 re-releases with new cutie pox, really.

    3. BRUH! Like, FINALLY, someone gets me! Both with G4 & G5, it feels like they only made, like, what, TWO other molds, (that were probably barely used), for each character. Basically, they just use the same molds/figures, like, 99.9% of the time...

What if I told you that Hasbro could release different My Little Pony characters besides the mane five?

  10. I dont mind the non-brushable ponies (the hair quality in later g4s were atrocious) but something that doesn't make much sense is them giving them a brushable tail but no mini comb in sight for it.

G4s ALWAYS gave a comb for each brushable toy made, why not include one here?
