Kotobukiya Shows Sculpts of Queen Chrysalis & Princess Cadance

We haven't been in the loop of Kotobukiyas latest works, but thanks to a heads-up we got from an anonymous follower we learned that they're still creating new My Little Pony bishoujo statues!

Yes, this isn't the latest information, but Kotobukiya always made unique and highly detailed statues, so we'd see no problem with a bit of a late share on these. There's bound to be some people who haven't seen them yet (we hope).

Starting with Princess Cadance, for who the concept art and sculpt was shared back in January, where we can see an elegant flowing dress and tiara alongside the pony version with a similar pose.

And earlier this month the same information was revealed for Queen Chrysalis, where they translated the holes in her legs and wings into a torn and ripped clothes. She has quite a teasing look as she mimics the typical raised hoof look of the changeling queen.

So far no release dates or pricing information has been shared, but seeing that Princess Cadance was revealed back in January I wouldn't be surprised that we can expect more news before the end of the year.

For earlier releases of Kotobukiya, be sure to check out our database. And most of the statues are still available online if you're interested in them.

Oh, and if you're also a vivid visitor of MH Merch, there's still a month left to pre-order the Draculaura bishoujo statue.

  1. Even though it's been a few years since G4 ended the main series, many, many elements have been so current and so recent that it's good to know that the interest in this generation of My Little Pony remains strong.

And with this line of collectible figures, we can really see the details and love for these cute characters, I really love them!!

  2. Queen Chrysalis my old nemesis. After all these years I still blame her for what happened to the fandom after the S6 finale...

  5. Y'know? For a site that's supposedly dedicated to covering MLP merchandise, there is a lot of merch that never gets so much of a mention here. Is MLP Merch even active at this point?

    1. Hi there! We're still alive, but mainly focus on databases at this point (included all the other brands we cover). If there's major news we'll post it, but covering all the smaller releases around MLP is not something that fits in our schedule sadly.
