Before we return to the baby: This is what the Crystal Empire Playset is going to look like, and it looks amazing! The whole playset is made of translucent blue-ish plastic and the light that Hasbro promised seems to be used as a projector to show Cutie Marks on the floor. The playset will come with Princess Cadance and her baby: Flurry Heart! The baby will be translucent and is posed like the Funko POP figures.
Besides the figures there are accessories that come with the castle, such as a mirror, throne and mini-throne.
The set will be available for $39.99 in the United States around September. Playsets usually see a general release worldwide around the same time.

Flurry Heart herself looks rather nice, though I'm not very fond of her large wings. And yeah, why is she translucent .__. (And I still think the name is not good for a princess pony.)

DeleteThe playset doesn't look that impressive, the only good one they've put out in recent years is Canterlot Castle and the few EQG ones they've put out. In fact, the EQG line is surpassing the main MLP line in terms of new, cool stuff.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather see more male brushable ponies than playsets that take up a lot of room.
How is the EQG line surpasing the MLP one? There hasn't been any new merch for a year besides the minis, there hasn't been a single new doll that we haven't seen at Toy Fairs at the beginning of 2015.
DeleteNot really interested in the playset, but Flurry Heart is pretty cute. If she gets released in a less expensive pack (preferably on her own or maybe with brushable versions of her parents and no playset) I will buy her.

ReplyDeleteI really liked Flurry Heart but I think she has to be a unicorn. Celestia have made Cadance an alicorn that doesn't mean that thr baby needs to be an alicorn too. Celestia didn't gave Flurry Heart any powers that could make her an alicorn. For me she's supposed to be a unicorn like her dad. Although I really liked the playset but It's kinda boring I mean I liked the part where it lights up but it's just that which is the most interesting thing in the playset. The other things are a banner and two thrones. Why Cadance didn't came with shoes and a dress?

Yeah, you know in my country there are some toys from another countries that are old, but in my country they are still in websites(I'm not talking about ebay) and I really want to buy the Sunset Shimmer from the Crystal Princess Celebration line. She's still there brand new for a very good price. There is a Pinkie Pie from the Shine Bright Collection too. I so want to buy her. There are even more ponies but I don't have the time to tell you how much they are.

ReplyDeleteIf I'm right they still use the filly mold but I feel like they have to make a whole new mold for her. We only filly one with wings atm is Scootaloo and her wings are... well minuscule compared to those of Flurry Heart... besides I think the Filly mold is a bit too old for Filly Heart who's just a baby. ;)
