Review: MLP Memo Activity Pack

Out of nowhere, we saw this box at our local drugstore called 'Kruidvat', and for only €4.99 we had to buy it! The name isn't very clear, but the box contains both a jigsaw puzzle of 48 pieces and a memory game containing 30 pairs. Surprisingly enough, it's not just the mane 6 that got memory pieces: mane side and background characters are also included, even Lyra is there!

The Memory Game

This is by far the best and most interesting part of the box. With 30 sets, and only a few doubles there are plenty of characters in this game. I really like the fact that ponies like Trixie, Twist, Lyra and Bon Bon (Sweetie Drops) are also included. The mane 6 still has 2 or 3 set each, but that makes the game just a little bit fun ("I got Twilight, but which one??"). The quality of this set is very good with thick cardboard and proper printing quality. I only found two flaws: Both Cheerilee and Bon Bon seem to be missing a bit of their vector, which looks a bit awkward.

The Jigsaw Puzzle

The puzzle was a bit of a bummer. With only 48 pieces, we knew what to expect, but the image itself is really boring. Most parts aren't colored in and most of the puzzle consists of stars and hearts instead of more ponies. The puzzle itself was also of good quality, but a bit less thick than the Memory game pieces.
