Wave 12 Blind Bag
The first detailed images of the wave 12 blind bags have appeared online. And their very detailed, so much that we can even see through the bags for the most part! But if we look closely at the bottom of the bag there is no indication of blind bags codes anymore! For those who don't know, the blind bag codes can be used to identify which pony is inside a blind bag, before opening it. Without the codes it will be significantly harder to identify which pony the bag contains.
It could be that there is still some other kind of identification on the bags (perhaps a code on the bag, like the older waves), that the bag on the picture is a prototype, or that Hasbro removed the codes completely.
We won't know for certain until someone can check one of the bags. If you've got one or know more about the codes, please let us know!

  1. If they get rid of the codes, I won't be buying them anymore. They're too expensive to buy them randomly.

  2. Welp, I'm out. No way I'm buying randomly or at inflated prices on Ebay.

  3. If Hasbro has removed the codes then I too am out. Like others have said, they're just too expensive to buy randomly.

  4. I am suprised that people already whine about it here, the foil is so transparent that you can recognise the pony inside anyways.

    1. Have you seen the bags in person? If so and they are that transparent than cool.

  5. Oh s**! I hope it's just for the prototype! (or that the bags will be really "semi transparent"!)

  6. Even if you can't identify the pony inside somehow, you can just trade with people if you are in touch with people in forums.

  8. I am very dissapointed about the codes so I hope that maybe it is a prototype and also we dont know how easy it will be to see through the bags but i sure hope they come out soon because they are very awesome although i wish they were cheaper like 99 cents that way the tax will come to $1

  11. Well, that must be a prototype.
If not, there is a code hidden on it, or you can actually see through! Plus, the picture shows the FRONT, but not the BACK of the bag...

  13. I have some of these. I've been looking at them very closely. There is a code. On the front at the bottom of the bag, where the plastic is melted together, the seam has a sort of "texture" and along the bottom seam, melted into the plastic there are the numbers 43001 and then AK, or AN, or AY. These are the three bags I have in front of me. Also there is a clear "window" about 3/4" x 3/8" (s- shaped) near the top in the back that you can steer the pony up to to see the pony

    1. Hi! Could you send us an image of the codes? We'd like to edit our posts and mention that there is in fact a code :)

  14. Yes, they do have codes but you don't need them to know the pony. Each bag is very see through & has see through windows you can clearly see the card & pony. I only bought 4 but here are those codes:

    AM - Cherry Spices
    AO - Sweetcream Scoops
    AU - Firecracker Burst
AY - Special Painted Pinkie Pie

    1. Hi! Are you sure Cherry Spices was AM and not AV (M and V kinda look a like)? Because we have the codes according to the order in this post.
