My Little Pony Sunny Starscout Glow in the Dark Plush by Flair

Toy Wholesaler ABGee has listed a brand new Sunny Starscout plush made by Flair. But she isn't your ordinary plush. She has the ability to glow in the dark when she's in the light for long enough, and also plays sounds from the movie. She will retail for £19.99 pounds. The listing can be found here.

However, something else has also caught my attention and that's the description they included with this listing:

Sunny is the main character of the last generation of My Little Pony. She's an Alicorn who plays a pivotal role in saving Equestria from King Sombra and his minions. This special edition Sunny Alicorn plush toy includes gold wings and horn, with combed hair, and glow in the dark elements on the body and hair and plays the movie soundtrack. The perfect gift for any My Little Pony fan!

So did this toy just spoil/inform us about what's to come? Will King Sombra indeed return this generation? Will this be the last generation? (Or else it should have said "latest" right?) Or is this just completely something else? Let us know what you think!

  1. Calling it: the mane 6 are alive but transported to another dimension by Sombra, just like he did in G4 with the Crystal Empire and its inhabitants!

    1. The Mane6 are very unlikely to return considering the voice actress already said their contracts weren't renewed for future MLP series.

Probably not (sounds as if somebody just mixed her up with Twi), but probably yes.

  5. I just noticed the logo on that box- it's no wonder she looks near identical to the Famosa plushies, since she is one!

Speaking of which, you guys still have the Famosa plushies listed separately from the Play by Play ones in your database- Play by Play is simply the plush branch of Famosa (the latter bought the former in '06) and they apparently release some things under the name "Play by Play" and some under "Famosa Softies."
The brushable Play by Play plushies and the Famosa set have the same item number, so either the Play by Play ones were released, then redesigned and rereleased under "Famosa Softies" (which I find unlikely, since I haven't seen them listed anywhere without being referred to as Famosa plushies); or they were redesigned before release and also were changed to be released under "Famosa Softies," leaving the original Play by Play ones as unreleased prototypes, which can be seen in earlier product photos on some listings.
In either case, I believe you should list them all under "Famosa-Giochi Preziosi," which Famosa and Play by Play are smaller parts of. I feel that it would clear everything up.

If anyone has bought any Famosa/Play by Play plushies online, which version was pictured, and which did you get? It'd be interesting to know if anyone got the earlier ones.
