When we saw Mighty Jaxx their stand at the 2024 Spielwarenmesse it was clear that a new series of Kwistal Fwenz was in the works. After a bit of a wait the new series is now finally listed on their website, showing all details of the upcoming set of 7 ponies, including their release date!
First, this new set follows some other licensed sets from Mighty Jaxx and drops the 'Fwenz' from their name, so the official name of the new set is Kwistal: My Little Pony Gala Series. And when you hear MLP and Gala in one sentence, you might immediately think of the Grand Galloping Gala. And you'd be right!
The 6 regular figures feature the Mane 6 in their famous gala dresses and a 'Magic Night' color variant of Rarity is included as the 1:24 chase figure. They still have their signature Kwistal (Fwenz) chibi style with crystal-like manes and include a base to stand on, fitting in with the style of the first two series.
With the Kwistal: My Little Pony Gala Series listing on the Mighty Jaxx website we learn that the release is set for June 26th. When they launch you can order the figures as either single packs ($12.99) or as a box with 6 figures ($74.99), for which they guarantee that all 6 figures are unique (with a small chance that one of them is the Rarity chase figure).

ReplyDeleteMagic Night edition Rarity is the definition of gorgeous, my favs from this wave are Magic Night edition Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, AJ and Rainbow Dash, Pink dressed Rarity and Twilight are ok but I feel like there's something missing, but actually they're all stunning, I usually have something to complain about those merches but they are just perfect, I mean, the Magic Night edition Rarity is the prettiest thing ever and you can't tell me overwise, actually that's all I gotta say about them
