The image shown above was shared on the official Build-a-Bear Facebook page by Chris, and seems to be in the regular build-a-bear branding, so it's possible that the image origins from their website or promotional material.
Update: The Cutie Mark of DJ Pon-3 is off, because she's wearing a white disco suit (thanks Ayu). We'll probably see more of the dress soon, and expect that she has her regular Cutie Mark underneath.

DeleteThe manager at our Build A Bear said she thinks September 12 or 19 will be the release date and she will be an in-store item unlike Derpy. She also said that the Hasbro license Build A Bear obtained has run our, so DJ Pon3 will most likely be the last of the MLP:FIM line.

DeleteWhile every contract is different, it's pretty safe to say that manager was just feeding you a line. Build a Bear may not release any new ponies, but it wouldn't be "because their contract RAN OUT." If that were the case, they would have a certain timeframe to dispose of their MLP inventory because they had chosen not to renew the contract.
DeleteGenerally when that happens, sales for the said item have been horrible. Before they have to dispose of the inventory, you'll see a bunch of killer sales for the products. Any profit is better than none, although sometimes the original license holder won't allow the price to go down below a certain minimum.
Personally, I think that if we don't see any new My Little Ponies, it's because of the results in the polls. Of course I'd love to see a Queen Chrysalis or Lyra, but if they didn't get enough votes...
I hope she's in stores,i haven't been to build a bear in a LONG time cuz they were only releasing them online and o have all the in-store ones except scootaloo
