Images of 2019 My Little Pony & Equestria Girls Sets Found
We already wrote about several new sets that were announced on Entertainment Earth and we're happy to write that most of these sets are now accompanied by stock photos! Not on EE, but on detmir.ru, who listed the Equestria Girls and Brushables this week. Below we have a combination of the original English descriptions and the new stock photos, showing that most of our expectations match pretty good. Sadly we're still missing the photos of the Pinkie Pie Equestria Girl and pony, so we're still hoping to find these soon.
We also added them to our Brushables, Equestria Girls Reboot and Equestria Girls Fashion Squad databases, so you can now start to add them to your wishlist for 2019! For easy access we linked each database page with the listings below.
Thanks to Tomo for the info!

  2. The dress of the Twilight 2-pack is cute and i can even forgive the lack of articulation but why the painted legs? i got flashbacks of the rainbow rocks era

  6. For the last time guys: the Mane 6 are still the pulsing cores of the show. It's totally normal that Hasbro pulls them, besides the next season is gonna be the final one so eventually things are going to change in a pair of years...

I just ask you one thing regarding the show itself: since the S9 is gonna be the final one, focus on the Mane 6 is totally due. A series finale is a series finale, and as such it MUST to be focused on the main characters. I ask you to go easy on it when it airs next year, and let the writers giving these six mares the ending they deserve and NOT being assoles about it. Please.

    1. People complaining about the toyline isn't going to affect the show at all. They're not gonna suddenly decide to NOT give the mane 6 a happy ending because a few people said they were released as toys too many times.

    2. I agree that the mane six should be the focus, and I'm not saying they shouldn't, but based on previous years where Hasbro gave us a fair amount of supporting or background characters in toy form, whereas now we are barely getting 2 within a time span of a year and a half, I feel we need more characters in the toy line, especially seeing since we know they are capable of doing it, like said, based on years past. Hasbro needs to makeup for their extravagant lack of background characters this past year and coming spring, if they want to keep toy collectors collecting.

I think that in order to suit us both, Hasbro should focus the toy line on what the show has become since season 1. That way, not only can we get mane six toys, as they deserve, but also get toys for the characters that helped the mane six get to where they are now. Many of the mane six wouldn't be where they are now without the assistance of supporting characters, and I think these characters deserve to be acknowledged as much as the mane six do.

As for my opinion on these newly revealed toys, I am digging the on-the-go sets. This is what I want with mane six re-releases, New accurate eyes, and different poses. I hope they can keep this up with the coming toys for next fall, and hopefully this may give us a navy blue Luna.

    3. Dude get over yourself oh my god. We have every right to be annoyed with a toyline that used to be about variety becoming redundant by releasing the same six or so characters. Just look at all the variety on this very own site's G1 through G3 databases and try telling me it hasn't gone way downhill in the character variety. Ever since G3's Core 7 began ten years ago, MLP's been lacking in variety and we have every right the be annoyed by it. The Mane 6 being the main characters isn't an excuse for Hasbro's pure laziness in their toyline.

  8. Honestly I prefer the other EQG minis, "it's a matter of having, be careful with the legs (know how to adjust them, to place the doll standing) and arms", in the respective, to the new, I'm not convinced by the clothes, "no they have a lot, freedom of movement, "I still appreciate them, despite what has been said

  9. Hasbro has been using the main six over and over and over since the beginning and honestly for us collectors it's gotten incredibly boring and unimaginative. I dunno what chum though it was a good idea to keep re-releasing them with a new gimmick and MAYBE one new character that's going to be hard to find cause she comes one to a case. For me, I'm not going to buy another Twilight so it's going to be left on the shelf to collect dust.
If the main six wasn't released over one million times before and had new ponies replace them then I would agree with your comment. But... I don't cause they have had their spot light since day 1. .

  10. They should have just expanded the switch-n-mix sets to all the girls. Those were fun sets, especially with the option to swap hairs.

  11. Yeah, nothing I want.. seems like toy wise Hasbro has just about given up on this series, and that's a darn shame if you ask me because there's still so many ponies that would have made fine figures. I'm especially bummed about this:

Possible prototypes for the Fan Series line that'll probably never see the light of day now? This is the stuff that they should have kept concentrating on in my opinion.

  12. I think Hasbro is done with this gen. At this point, they are just repackaging the "junk" they can't sell in hopes of offloading it during MLP FIM's final year. The mane six pirate pony gift set for $10 at Walmart is a testament.

Honestly, my local Target's 35th Anniversary Ponies (that have plenty of variety) are selling much faster than the main-line stuff which never seems to move. I keep waiting for them to put out the new sets with Sandbar and Silver Stream, but I don't think my store will ever overcome the hurdle of moving Rarity and Capper. Kids apparently detest them! haha

  15. These new EqG Minis are pretty cute, they strongly remind me of the 2000s era Polly Pocket dolls that I had when I was a kid, so it feels a bit nostalgic to me. I like seeing that sort of concept combined with MLP.
