Wilson Releases Line-Up of My Little Pony Products
Yes, we're still alive! It's been a while since we posted, but we're still on the lookout for the latest news in the world of My Little Pony. Due to the announced end of G4 we're seeing various licensed companies stop their production of MLP stuff, but we did find an exception! The Chinese branch of Wilson, the sports company, just launched their spring & summer 2019 line-up on Tmall/Taobao, and it's loaded with My Little Pony stuff!
Included are tons of basketball designs, footballs (both American and soccer), socks and backpacks. Most feature known vectors of Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle, as we commonly see, but one basketball features a refreshing "Power of Friendship" Cutie Mark Crew Twilight Sparkle.
What's sad to see, however, that even these licensed products feature fan art, which we doubt are agreed to by the artists.

The listings can be found on Tmall, but an account is required to see them all. Therefor we've included lots of pictures of all products below, enjoy!
(Thanks to Ayu for the heads-up)

Sweetie Belle Finally Available as Magazine Figure
If you browse through the list of ponies that have been included as freebie figures in the European magazines, there's one returning character that we're still missing: Sweetie Belle. Well, until now, because Egmont has finally released her as a magazine figure with this month's magazine. Do note that it took 5 years before the complete CMC was released, as Scootaloo originates from 2014!
Her design looks spot-on, with the added cutie mark, flowing tail and she even gets a glittery mane to make this release a extra special.
During this month she will start to appear in magazines in Europe (where magazine figures are released), but we don't have exact releases dates on new issues per country.
Thanks to Kira for the photos and Tomo for the heads-up!

My Little Pony Series 3 Stackems by Basic Fun

For the past few days our inbox has been flooded with this news: Basic Fun has listed the third series of Stack'ems on their website!
This set contains all new characters with some of them making their first merch appearance. Almost the whole "Young Six" is included: Sandbar, Silverstream, Yona, Gallus and Smolder and at last Cozy Glow. So no Ocellus sadly. (or perhaps she's in disguise... *looks at Cozy Glow*) By looking at the image it's very likely that Silverstream is gonna be the chase figure as she's filled with glitter.

First Cutie Mark Crew Series 4 Figures Found
This week we were tagged on our Instagram page with a very interesting find: a Cutie Mark Crew Lily Valley figure from a series 4 blind packs! We didn't hear about these being found anywhere else yet, and it appears that this one came from Amazon. While we can't confirm it yet, it's possible that this blind pack originates from the listing that combined the title & description from series 4 with the photos of series 3.
The collection of series 4 blind packs includes both translucent and regular figures of ponies, seaponies and Equestria Girls in the confetti-filled packaging that was introduced in series 3. Included are:
  • Equestria Girls Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle, Seapony Silverstream, Rainbow Dash
  • Sandbar, Pinkie Pie, Sea Swirl, Lily Valley
  • Equestria Girls Rainbow Dash, Seapony Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Equestria Girls Pinkie Pie
  • Lyra, Equestria Girls Twilight Sparkle, Depry/Muffins, Seapony Twilight Sparkle
  • Fluttershy, Seapony Applejack, Rarity, Spike
  • Equestria Girls Rarity, Seapony Fluttershy, Lotus Blossom, Seapony Pinkie Pie
Thanks to equestria_toys_movies for the photos!
UPDATE: The series 4 blind pack was bought from this listing on Amazon.co.uk, which also features series 3 photos.

Big Surprise: Hasbro Releases New Wave of Blind Bags
A big surprise this week from Hasbro with the release of a new wave of blind bags! Last year we thought it was game over for the classic blind bag waves with the continuous release of Cutie Mark Crew figures, but this turns out the be just a pause.
This week an images was shared on Instagram showing two well-known blind bag ponies with new cards attached. As far as we can tell the ponies in this wave are all re-releases from earlier transparent lines, like Wave 14, 16 and 17, with one exception: Rainbow Smile. A trademarked name we couldn't find a reference to anywhere else, and judging by the name, color and pose it could be a new name for Rainbowshine.
All figures come with a fully transparent body, no painted mane/tail and no added glitter. Though, there seems to be some color variations from the earlier releases, and we spot usage of the new eye designs from later waves.
The figures were found in Mexico, and we didn't see them at the NY Toy Fair this year or last year. This raises the question whether the new wave (technically #25 if we exclude Best Gift Ever) is a worldwide release, or of this wave will only see specific countries. Still, if that latter is the case, they could still end up in discount stores like the budget EqG dolls.
