My Little Pony Sunset Shimmer Smashin Fashion Figure

About two weeks ago we posted about new listings that had been spotted on Toywiz talking about Smashin Fashion figures. Today Entertainment Earth has also added these listings, but together with images as well! It turns out this a new line/set for G4 after Reveal the Magic. Three characters are included at the moment: Rainbow Dash, Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle. However in terms of design they now have an Anthropomorphic look and each of them also comes with clothing and (hidden) accessories. Judging from the packaging you're supposed to blow-up the bag and then smash it to reveal the accessories inside. It might also be possible to bend the figures in such a way that they resemble actual ponies. A listing for a Party Bus also has appeared but that one doesn't have images yet.

Get dressed with the My Little Pony Smashin' Fashion Mini-Figures! Each articulated figure includes bows, outfits, and other fun accessories to customize for your very own.

Have the listings below. They are set to have a January 2021 release.

  1. I'm seeing less and less brushable hair as time goes on for the toy line, hope that sculpted hair isn't the future of mlp. Not saying it's bad, but the brushable hair is a key factor in MLP's original success.

    1. Same. I think both are great and should stay for different reasons. I'd not want to give up on them being brushable for the sake of having show accurate hair.

  2. Nah, gimme molded-plastic hair all day every day. The “brushable” (as if!!!) sort had its day but is ultimately pointless and annoying. And actually, just gimme none of this. I keep seeing incredibly cheap, ugly, super-kiddie versions of the mane six. Hate the “hairy hoof” thing. So glad I was a fan practically before the show premiered, from the first promo images I saw, thus being able to gather my beautiful herd.

    1. I agree with the part that no good figures are coming out anymore. These outfits, the design and quality, it's just ridiculous. It's something a 3 year old might like but not suitable for collectors in any way.

    2. @Ash: We shouldn't forget that this is just a filler merch series until G5, I'm pretty sure they don't put out anything amazing on purpose as that's probably reserved for the debut of the new gen.

    3. @Ayu: I certainly hope so! Are there any information regarding the release yet?

    4. Brushable hair is the entire point of the My Little Pony line, has been since it began in the 80's. What are you on about?
