Just Play was very quick with the release of My Little Pony: A New Generation plush, with the first spot back in early April 2021. The only thing missing back then was a Hitch plush to make the Mane 5 complete.As of this week that's no longer the case, as Walmart just listed a special 'Small Plush Friendship Set' featuring Just Play plush of the complete mane 5. Aside from Hitch this collection features the regular 7" plush that were released earlier. All the ponies have flat manes and tails, feature embroidered cutie marks and eyes and have shiny hooves. Izzy has her bracelet and Pipp comes with a tiara.
And with a price tag of $20 it's a better deal if you want to complete the whole set (separate ponies are $6.88 at Walmart). The Friendship Set is available now on the Walmart website and possibly in stores too, but we haven't had any reports on that yet.

ReplyDeleteOh well, these aren't the best plushies, anyway; I actually think they're the least accurate G5 plushies so far. I'd say Hitch is the best-looking of the group, but maybe he'll release on his own a bit later. I wouldn't say I'm in a hurry to complete this set, but if I see Hitch on his own, I'll probably pick him up.
And a month later (week later in fact as I just found out about this a week ago) the list price is now $25 (as of the time of this comment)
