On their
Twitter, Funrise announced the release of both the recently found
Sparkle Horn and new Shimmer Wing plushies. In addition to these lines they also officially listed the range of 12" plushies on their site and
ToyChestNews has them listed for a release to retailers at September 10th. The 12" range seems to be a bit odd if we compare the various listings: The mane 6 and Cheerilee is included, Twilight is still available in unicorn and alicorn form and also a rainbowfied Applejack is listed. We're not sure what the exact line of 12 inch plushies is/will be, so we won't update
our Funrise mega post just yet.
The Shimmer Wing ponies are a variation on the Sparkle Horn plushies, but with glowing wings instead of horns. Again, we have no confirmation on all the included figures, but my guess would be only Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. We'll let you know when we know more!

I think the 12" Plushies have been out for a while. I recall going to Toys R Us back in May and finding an Octavia plush that seemed bigger than the 10" ones but much smaller than the 20" ones. It seems ironic that there's 12" ones now, so perhaps she was one of those?
ReplyDeleteI've heard reports on finding plushies that were a little bit bigger than the 10" ones. The reason for this article is that we can now confirm the existence of the plushies because of the listing on the Funrise website. :)
