The celebration of My Little Pony's 40th anniversary is starting to take shape: Hasbro is promoting the celebration actively on social media, and licensees are releasing their retro toys and merch. Today we'll look at what Basic Fun (known from earlier retro G1 ponies) and Loungefly have available.

At MLP Merch we occasionally take a look at new release types or interesting figures to show you all details from in-hand merch. Today, with thanks to Nimrodel, we can take a closer look at the G1 pins that are exclusive to Entertainment Earth.

Entertainment Earth listed several new G1 Pins a few weeks ago. But today they have listed a whole new set of Pins for you to collect! Loungefly is continueing their G1 collection with these brand new Entertainment Earth exclusive blind box pins!

 A few months ago Loungefly teased an upcoming G1 Retro collab. The only thing we saw at that time was a very nicely looking Starshine backpack. Entertainment Earth has now listed this backpack alongside a matching Starshine Zip-around wallet on their website.

Over on their Instagram page, Loungefly just teased the coming of a new My Little Pony line-up. The image shows a colorful Starshine backpack concept, and while we've seen Starshine feature on Loungefly items in the past, this is a brand new version.
