MLP Merch Poll #170MLP Merch Poll #169 Results
Last week we asked you if a new series of buildable My Little Pony figures or sets would interest you. The result? Over a third of you is not at all interested in a new try on buildable figures, and 26% would only like to see a LEGO-like set for My Little Pony, rather than anything that has been released so far. Excluding the 14% who isn't sure this leaves only 25% of the votes in favor of a new set, which is relatively low in my eyes.

My Little Pony Equestria Girls Minis Rarity Theme Park Collection Single Figure
Personally, one thing that tells me it's finally spring again is when all the theme parks open up their gates again. I love theme parks! Especially roller coasters. Too bad most of them are too intense for Ossie. Anyway to stay in the whole theme park theme. Amazon has listed the Equestria Girls Minis Singles for the Theme Park Collection.

Twilight Sparkle Confirmed As Second Kotobukiya Bishoujo Statue
Kotobukiya's original announcement of the Bishoujo Pinkie Pie statue already teased about a complete line, and this week we got the confirmation that there will at least be a second statue in the series! On a Japanese blog's Twitter an image was shared showing that Twilight Sparkle won a poll for who the second figure would become. According to sources, the poll consisted of both mane 6 and non mane-6 ponies.
As seen in the image above, no further information is available on the design or release of the new figure. In fact, we're still waiting for addition info on Pinkie Pie, so we need to keep our patience a bit longer for these very promising figures!
Thanks to Ayu for the info!

Welcome back to our yearly megapost on everything My Little Pony at the New York Toy Fair, which started last weekend. This year the My Little Pony stand differed quite a lot from the previous year, as there's almost no mention of MLP The Movie anymore, while it's only a few months after the release in theaters. Instead the focus for this year is cute & chibi: Cutie Mark Crew figures, cute plush and Equestria Girls Minis vinyls will see their debut this year, as well as the continuation of the Equestria Girls reboot. In the brushables department we see the first merch for the new season pop-up, plenty of fashion style ponies and the release of new molded mane figures.
As mentioned in previous editions, we were not able to attend the toy fair ourselves, and are using photos of people that shared them online. All photo credits can be found at the bottom of the post.

Note: Some announcements contain spoilers for season 8 characters and themes. If you do not wish to read any spoilers for the upcoming season, please skip the brushables section.
Previous editions: 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017

Kotobukiya Announces Equestria Girls Bishoujo Series
While we were all focusing on the Toy Fair in New York, over in Japan at the Wonderful Festival a completely different announcement regarding My Little Pony merch was made: Kotobukiya is partnering with Hasbro to create actual Bishoujo statues! Directly during the convention they also put out an official statement and better image on their Facebook page confirming Shunya Yamashita as the illustrator and more figures from My Little Pony and GI Joe coming too.

The teaser images shows a highly detailed Equestria Girls Pinkie Pie, but also a regular pony version of her. It's unknown if these will be combined in a single figure, or if both will be released as separate statues. Personally I wouldn't mind either option!

At the time of writing no further information on release dates, prices or actual product designs is known. But once the release is inbound, there's some good news for oversees fans: The statues of Kotobukiya are usually well available outside of Japan.

Thanks to Ayu, Amanda & shadowcat456 for the heads-up!

It's that time of the year again when Hasbro shares a lot of information about upcoming merch: The NEw York Toy Fair. After their presentation (which didn't had any specific news about My Little Pony) they've published their Media Kits containing part of their line-up for this year. Some of them have already been revealed (and some of them are already available) so we will post about the brand new ones! For example, a whole Holiday themed line will be released at the end of the year including new Pearlized ponies!  Have all the My Little Pony and Equestria Girls news below!
