Back in August we learned that the line of My Little Pony Bishoujo statues would not end with the mane 6 and Sunset Shimmer, but that Princess Luna and Princess Celestia were going to be added. Now, just before the end of the year, Kotobukiya reveals the final (unpainted) sculpt design for both of the human versions. They also show the final human + pony version of Princess Luna separately, and we expect them to share the pony design of Princess Celestia soon.

 

About a month ago we reported that a listing had been found for a Best Hair Day Princess Cadance figure. At that time we had no idea what the figure would look like. Not long ago images started to surface of the Smashin Fashion line which was listed at the same time as the Best Hair Day one. I expected that this one would be similar to those but I was wrong!

A new listing has appeared on several sites revealing a new line of Blind Bags: Secret Rings. Whereas the previous one was all about potions, this one is about Gemstone themed ponies. Each box contains one ring and one pony, judging from the packaging and description these ponies are covered with paint. (or wax) and you're supposed to rinse them off and thus, your pony will be revealed.

In terms of design these have a very different look compared to their potion counterparts with these ponies having a gemstone-themed design. They are very abstract and geometric, something I personally quite like.

 

A new set from the Smashin Fashion line has been spotted, and this time on Amazon.
This two-pack features DJ Pon-3 and Pinkie Pie who both come with multiple dresses and other accessories, . We'll now also have official descriptions for these sets as well and they state that they can be displayed on both 2 and 4 legs, so thats pretty cool in my opinion.

About two weeks ago we posted about new listings that had been spotted on Toywiz talking about Smashin Fashion figures. Today Entertainment Earth has also added these listings, but together with images as well! It turns out this a new line/set for G4 after Reveal the Magic. Three characters are included at the moment: Rainbow Dash, Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle. However in terms of design they now have an Anthropomorphic look and each of them also comes with clothing and (hidden) accessories. Judging from the packaging you're supposed to blow-up the bag and then smash it to reveal the accessories inside. It might also be possible to bend the figures in such a way that they resemble actual ponies. A listing for a Party Bus also has appeared but that one doesn't have images yet.

There has been quite a unique announcement in Japan this week on JapanPonyCon by Know Idea, who we never heard of before. With their distribution partner Sega Toys (who are licensed by Hasbro) they're planning on releasing three Equestria Girls Friends Forever acrylic character stands, based on the original concept artwork of Rita Lux.

If the artworks looks familiar, you're absolutely right, simailar concept drawings have been used on the packaging of the Equestria Girls reboot series, as well as some Fashion Squad figures.

We're back with another store finds post! After the pre-order announcements from Mighty Jaxx and Funko it's time to take a look what's all available right now. There's quite a variety of items in this post, ranging from ornaments to scented plush and Kinder Surprise eggs.

It's only a short week after the official announcement of the new Funko POP! retro My Little Pony figures, and we just got word that pre-orders are now available, including a Hot Topic and GameStop exclusive!

In total there are 6 regular-size Funko POP! figures and 2 keychains, all themed after G1 ponies. Blossom, Butterscotch, Cotton Candy, Minty, and Snuzzle will be generally available, while Blue Belle will be released as a Hot Topic exclusive, and a scented Cotton Candy will only be sold at GameStop. Blossom and Cotton Candy will also be released as smaller POP! keychains.

After the popularity of the Freeny's Hidden Dissectibles MLP figures, the first addition is already coming soon.. in fact, tomorrow! Yes on 11/18/2020 Mighty Jaxx will add the XXRay Plus Princess Celestia to their site. Just like the other figures she has a unique dissected/x-ray design to show you both the inside and outside of her. Combined with glittery mane and tail there's plenty of detail to look at.
