At first I thought this was a second design, but no, apparently this is the first time Egmont made a Sunset Shimmer magazine figure! Yes we had Twilight Sparkle 3 times, Trixie twice and even Starburst, but this is the first Sunset Shimmer since the line of figures started back in 2014.

Every now and then the European MLP magazines include a figure, and it's been a while since the last issue with a freebie figure, but now we have the confirmation that Egmont will bundle a new figure with the August issue in Hungary.

The series of magazine figures by Egmont keeps on going, and the April issue of 2020 will contain a new Fluttershy figure with Angel in a basket! Well, sort of Angel, as there is a 50/50 chance you're getting a pink rabbit instead of white. On the cover art of the packaging she's clearly holding Angel, so we'll be calling her that :)
The figure has already been spotted with Russian magazines, but expect this Easter-themed set of figures to be bundled with more releases around Europe in the next week or two.

A new Magazine has been released in Eastern Europe and this time with a new figure. For this issue Rarity will be included wearing her Bridesmaid outfit worn in the Canterlot Wedding Episodes. The figure itself is the same as the first version of her released in 2014, but she now comes with a removable dress and headpiece.

If you browse through the list of ponies that have been included as freebie figures in the European magazines, there's one returning character that we're still missing: Sweetie Belle. Well, until now, because Egmont has finally released her as a magazine figure with this month's magazine. Do note that it took 5 years before the complete CMC was released, as Scootaloo originates from 2014!
Her design looks spot-on, with the added cutie mark, flowing tail and she even gets a glittery mane to make this release a extra special.
During this month she will start to appear in magazines in Europe (where magazine figures are released), but we don't have exact releases dates on new issues per country.

Now that all the New York Toy Fair news is out, we're back to the regular articles, including the store finds. This time we're writing about releases from the past 4 weeks, so it's possible that some of the items found aren't that new, but we'd like to share them any way!

While we did see a few redesigns of earlier ponies in the latest bunch of My Little Pony magazine, but this month Egmont decided to include a new friend to the collection: Sunburst! He comes with his blue cape and has removable glasses. As always, the design of the figure is amazing for something you get for free with a magazine.
The November edition of the magazine is themed after him and contains your usual collection of stories & puzzles. While now released in Poland, the same magazine is released throughout various European countries and in some rare occasions the US too (don't count on it, though). If you don't live in a country that sells these magazines, you could take a look at this eBay listing, that as several available.
