In addition to the Clickets we posted earlier, Grinstudios seems to have released 'Taglets' as well. These are charms (or tags) that you can use as a keychain, bracelet or tag for backpacks. The holders come in two styles: a backpack clip variant with 4 slots and a bracelet variant with 6 slots. In each slot you can place a round charm. Both variants come loaded with some charms of a mane 6 pony: The backpack clip set comes with 2 charms and the bracelet set with 4 charms. In addition to the visible charms each package comes with 3 mystery tags/charms. According to the Bin's Toy Bin review, the mystery charms are all of the same pony as the packaging, bummer! The prices seem to be around $2.99-$4.99 at Walmart. More images can be seen after the cut!

A new type of dog tags have been released in the US called 'Clickets', which are being produced by a company called Grinstudios. They're dog tags with two interchangeable sides which make me think of dominoes. They're made of plastic and this wave features the complete mane 6 (each bag contains both parts). The earlier found Twilight Sparkle cuddle pillow has received wings and is exclusively available at Avon, a women-centered webstore. Strangely enough neither Avon nor Amazon nor Walmart states that this plush is produced by Funrise, even though it greatly resembles their style. The origin of the plush remains a mystery for now, since all the listings do not mention a company at all other than 'imported.' The size of this cuddle pillow has remained the same at 16" (41cm) tall. The most obvious addition are the wings, which seems to add $10 to the value if we compare the price with Walmart.
Apart from the wings she seems to stand a bit sturdier now, but that could be just the promotional pictures (original picture after the cut).

Walmart has listed a peculiar MLP kids bike on their site this week. The listing states that this bike is part of the Rainbow Power series, but the design of the CMC makes us think about the Wild Rainbow series. The bike is being sold for $82.66 and has 12" wheels. I have no idea if that is a fair price, I'm personally more interested in the design that raises even more questions about the upcoming Wild Rainbow series. The wheels, bag and frame have images of the CMC with the familiar wild cat prints in their mane (not on the legs though) and the saddle and wheels have a wild cat background. The text on the bike, however, doesn't say anything related to Wild Rainbow, only 'Rainbow Power'.
I'm really wondering how big this Wild Rainbow series is going to be. We're still waiting for more brushable, so far we only have the CMC. We do however have a diary with Wild Rainbow themed Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash. Can't wait for more! (Thanks to anonymous reader for the info)

Shout! Factory had just announced 2 new DVD's. They are responsible for releasing all the past G4 DVD's and the G3 Re-released movies. First we have the DVD  with the original My Little Pony television series. This four-disc set will include all 65 episodes of the original series.

We also have the Spooktacular Pony Tales DVD coming featuring some spooky themed MLP FIM episodes. The episodes that will be on this DVD are: "Boast Busters", "Stare Master", "Luna Eclipsed", "Sleepless in Ponyville", "Castle Mane-ia", and "Bats!".

The set will be released on September 30, 2014, along with another DVD set titled My Little Pony: Escape From Catrina And Other Adventures which will include the Escape From Catrina film and a few classic episodes.

Twilight Sparkle and CMC Keychains

These 2 keychains just appeared on Taobao. They are officially licenced by Hasbro as you can see on the keychain itself. There are 2 designs right now, one with Twilight Sparkle as an Unicorn, and one with the CMC. We don't have more information right now except that they might be from Japan, but we will keep you guys up to date!

Rainbow Rocks doesn't seem to be just a movie with dolls as it's only merchandise. Today this Rainbow Rocks Headphones Set has appeared on Amazon! The headset has the usual bright Rainbow Rocks colors and has a stylized Fluttershy on the sides. It's in stock now and goes for only $20.

Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Applejack Figure

These strange figures just appeared on Taobao. We have no idea were they came from or from which brand they are. But they look very... strange...

UPDATE: Thanks to Kelem on Facebook and an anonymous visitor of our blog we now know that these come from chocolate eggs produced by a Russian company called Confitrade. Below the cut we have a picture with all all figures!

Tomy Buildable MLP Vinyls

These figures are quite unknown. Even in the United States. I myself knew of their existence and saw them for the first time in a picture on the MLPArena and I was like ... ehhh? Anyway if you suddenly see them in a Gachapon Machine in Europa Park in Germany, you of course get thrilled and try to get as much 2 euro coins to slam into the machine. These things are rare, and uhm ... not exactly the most beautiful figures around...

We start off with new blind bags! No, it's not wave 11 yet, these are light-up pony ring blind bags. For once the complete mane 6 comes in this set, yes, including Applejack for once! They are pretty big for a ring and to be quite honest look really cheap. You can currently find them at Walmart for only $1.96 if you want them though!

(Toy)reviewer Ashens has just published a new video were he reviews some MLP Figures. We are a big fan of Ashens and that's why we just wanna share this review with you people.

Attention: Please don't take the review to serious. It's not suitable for people who don't want to see ponies getting burned/molested. ;)

After doing a bit more research on the Rainbow Dash Screen Protector we found minutes ago, these snap case covers popped up on eBay! They are officially licensed, made by Bioworld Merchandise and come in four designs featuring Princess Luna, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and DJ-PON3. They go for $12-$16 on eBay, and are not yet found in other (online) stores. Be aware that they come in two sizes: one for iPhone 4/4S and one for iPhone 5 models. You can currently find them on eBay with search tags like "mlp case cover" or "mlp phone cover".

Rainbow Dash Screen Protector

It has been a great day in merch-land with pictures of Rainbowfied Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo and a Princess Luna Blind Bag. But to finish things off for today, here is your weekly update on random, licensed and fake merch.

Yet another quiet Random Tuesday post, with only 2 items. The first item is a glassware set featuring Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. Just for this once, Fluttershy had to make room for Applejack. All four glasses are colored as the body color of the pony and decorated with line art and glitters. Paladone, a gift wholesale store from the UK enters the pony market with five G4 items.
The header image is a Pinkie Pie Plush Speaker. Yes, a speaker and plush in one. Hugging it could be a little awkward, since it's not wireless: an audio lead is included in the packaging. And with a single 2 WATT speaker I don't expect sound as loud as you would expect from Pinkie Pie. She requires 3 AA batteries and is 24cm (9.5 inch) tall.

After finding the Rainbow Rocks Concept Art we went on a little detective work to see what interest Vilsco, the company that shared the presentation, has in My Little Pony. We've found some amazing concepts for possible merch ranging from earbuds to cable winders. And did a little research on the company itself.
