ToyWiz Lists new My Little Pony Toys: Best Hair Day and Smashing Fashion

New listings have appeared on ToyWiz and with these listings at least one thing will be confirmed, and that's Sunset Shimmer will indeed be released as a figure. The listings are for a set called Best Hair Day which includes Princess Cadance (and maybe another pony since it mentions it's a 2-pack) if that's the case it could be that perhaps Rarity is included as we saw a promo earlier with Princess Cadance having Rarity's hair... perhaps you can mix and match hairstyles?

official South African My Little Pony Facebook Rarity, Princess Cadance and Sunset Shimmer
Today we've spotted something very interesting. The official South African My Little Pony Facebook page has posted an image of a Rarity G4.5 life. While this is nothing that special seeing as she has been released already (although another variant with glitter), behind her are two figures of Sunset Shimmer and Princess Cadance. Two figure we haven't seen yet. Judging by their looks they appear to be perhaps some budget releases judging by the paint job. Sunset Shimmer doesn't have the yellow parts in her mane and Princess Cadance... well her hair is a solid purple and her Cutie Mark is a solid blue/white color as well.

So far the South African Page is the only one who has posted this one so far. And the post itself didn't provide any other information. The exact post can be found below:
We all have a friend who is a fashionista like Rarity, adventurous like Rainbow Dash and silly like Pinkie Pie. Tag them in the comments below and let them know they are loved, because Friendship is Magic! Buy My Little Pony toys here:
Perhaps these were just some prototypes/mock-ups and they will never be released. Perhaps they are customs/mock-ups judging that Princess Cadance has the same hair as Rarity. But that seems very unlikely to me, especially when you look at the eyes which do look pretty real if you compare them with the official releases. (They have that "print" texture if that makes sense.) And at last, it would be kinda weird for an official MLP Page to post customs/mock-ups. I think we just have to wait and see but as usual, we'll keep you updated.

My Little Pony Rainbow Dash Budget Styling Pony Reveal the Magic Brushable
A Brazilian website has listed stock images for the upcoming G4.5 Budget Styling Ponies which we posted about several months ago. In terms of size, these ones are the same size as their Potion Dress-Up releases minus all the accessories. The characters included in this release are Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. It's unsure if Applejack, Fluttershy or Rarity will be released as well.

A Greek toystore named Toys-Shop has listed something interesting. The website has listed single versions of the Retro Rainbow Mane 6 set that was released last year. The figures appear to be the same as their multipack releases. However as for now we were only able to find listing for Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. It's unclear if Fluttershy and Rarity will also be released. (Though it seems a bit strange if they don't)

After a period of many updates at the start of the summer, info on new ponies have been lacking in the past two weeks. We also suffered a heat wave here, but glad to be back in normal temperatures and ready to post new My Little Pony findings for you!

My Little Pony Rarity Rainbow Road Trip Fashion PonyMy Little Pony Rainbow Dash Reveal the Magic Styling Pony

Toywiz has listed a "new" styling Pony on their website. The Dress-up Rarity. It's strange seeing this one pop-up only now since it has the same style of packaging as the other dress-up fashion ponies. The clothes Rarity come with is a less detailed version of the MLP The Movie Fashion Style Rarity. She has been listed on Toywiz for $11.99

UPDATE: In our initial post we wrote about the first set containing regular-sized ponies, but they turn out to be the size of fashion styles (5.5").

Rainbow Dash & Rarity Wave 2 Potion Singles Listed on Mexican Site
Aside from the licensed merch, we're starting to see activity from Hasbro again as well. On a Mexican toy website they secretly hid the two ponies among the images of wave 1. While it was expected that Rarity and Rainbow Dash would join the G4.5 / Reveal the Magic singles line, but with these images we get to see what accessories they come with!
Rarity will come with a light pink comb, a translucent hair band, a jewel hair clip and two hair hair elastics. Rainbow Dash gets a similar set of accessories, but with a white comb, cloud hair clip and a blue hair band with a bow.
There's also Amazon listings for Rarity & Rainbow Dash, but those are just placeholders for the time being, the images are not yet listed there. A release date is hard to say, as we're not sure on what delay the pandemic has caused with Hasbro and their factories, but we're guessing it will still be during the summer.
Thanks to Tomo for the heads-up!
