KFC Indonesia Reveals G5 Kids Meal Toys

Ever since the teaser in December we've been following the social media of KFC Indonesia to wait for more information about their line-up of My Little Pony G5 toys. Today they shortly revealed the full set, but removed it quickly after. Luckily there have been some shares of the images, so we can still take a look at it!

Egmont Releases First Brushable Figure in New UK Magazine

We occasionally post about the latest MLP magazines from the UK and Europe when a new freebie figure is included. When looking at their page in the MLP Merch Database you'll notice one thing: they all have molded manes!

Well, that's no longer the case as of this month, as today Egmont releases UK issue #141 with a brushable Applejack figure. The figure itself looks very similar to the molds they used for the regular versions, but instead of her hat and molded mane/tail this figure has long brushable locks. Especially her tail looks quite long as it seems to almost wrap around.

Combined with the magazine is also a set of stickers and accessories, including a tiny comb. What the quality of the hair is, and whether the comb goes through the hair smoothly, is currently unknown. If you've managed to find the magazine and want to share your thought, feel free to let us know in the comments!

Thanks to Sebby for the heads-up!

My Little Pony 2021 McDonald's Happy Meal Toys

UPDATE: The figures will be released in, at least, Saudi Arabia. We hope to be able to have more information on other countries tomorrow.
Looks like some new My Little Pony Happy Meal Toys will be given out starting tomorrow. Alongside My Little Pony, new Transformer toys will also be released. The My Little Pony figures are each modeled after their G4.5/Pony Life look. It also seems they each of them comes with a pergola inspired cart which you can connect to one another.

Every now and then the European MLP magazines include a figure, and it's been a while since the last issue with a freebie figure, but now we have the confirmation that Egmont will bundle a new figure with the August issue in Hungary.

McDonald's Re-Releases 1998 Happy Meal G2 Pony
Whereas Basic Fun skipped the second generation of My Little Pony in their retro line of ponies (so far), we got surprise news from McDonald's this week that they are filling in that gap! As part of their 40 years anniversary of the Happy Meal they are re-releasing 17 classic toys from Happy Meals throughout the ages. One of which is the G2 Light Heart pony that was originally released in 1998.

Regarding the colors and details this pony is exactly like its 21-year-old original, including the brushable tail. The only difference is the hollow legs which have been added on this re-release.

If you'd like to add this pony to your collection you should be quick: these toys are subject to availability and are only included in Happy Meals between today (Nov 7th) and next Monday (Nov 11th). McDonald's location in at least the US and The Netherlands will offer this line of toys, it's unsure which other countries include this promotion as well.
Update: The happy meal figures are packaged as blind bags, and according to multiple confirmations #12 is the Light Heart pony. (Thanks mylittleponyukcollector)

Thanks to Alex for the heads-up!

My Little Pony Happy Meal in More Countries + New Figures
We're back from our holiday and are back to share the latest MLP news with all of you! On our way back we were able to pick up Rainbow Dash from the My Little Pony Happy Meal 2019 line, and no, we didn't go through Switzerland. Here in The Netherlands McDonald's launched the same line of Happy Meal figures, which includes unique versions of Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Twilight Sparkle.
But there is more news, as the line is also available in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. However, in those countries the set does not only contain the ponies mentioned above, but features new figures of Starlight Glimmer and Spike as well! Pictures of both are shown below.
More countries could potentially receive this set in the future, as we've seen delays of months between countries in the past, but we don't have any definitive information on that.

If you can't wait for them to become available in your country: the first listings for these figures are now available on eBay.

Thanks to Sil for the heads-up!

New My Little Pony Happy Meal Figures at McDonalds Switzerland
Looks like Burger King isn't the only one including My Little Pony figures in their kids meals. Apparently McDonalds Switzerland is now also including ponies and Transformers in their Happy Meals, all of the Mane Six to be exact. They even have a timetable available on their website which shows which pony you can get in each week, but we also decided to post it below as well.

My Little Pony and Transformer Figures Now at Burger King
After a very long pause Burger King once again features My Little Pony and Transformer toys in their King Jr meals! Four brand new figures of both brands are available, but of course we'll focus on the My Little Pony figures here.
Featured are Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle and Rarity, who all have a different mold or feature: Pinkie Pie laughs, Rainbow Dash can roll forward, Twilight Sparkle has articulated wings and tail and Rarity comes with a removable cape.
The figures all come with molded manes and tails, but are not molded completely solid. As seen on the photos the legs are hollow.

From reports that we saw all 4 figures are available at the moment within the US and Canada, but it differs from store to store which are included with the meals at that time. We've also heard of restaurants that did not offer any MLP figures yet, even after the official launch date. Information on releases in other countries are not yet known.

Thanks to Archooves, Victor, Jessie and Alex for the info!

My Little Pony Colour Changing Silverstream Magazine Figure by Egmont
After Sunburst it was only a matter of time before a new Egmont Magazine figure got revealed. And now we have the answer: Silverstream will be the next one! And this isn't just an ordinary figure as she will change colours. She was revealed in an official Egmont video which also shows that she will change colors when you drop her into the water. The video shows that she will turn from white into a very hot pink. (It would be even more awesome if she could transform into a Hippogriff but that's going to be very, very complicated. )

Cutie Mark Crew Happy Meal Toys Confirmed For US
The release of the Cutie Mark Crew Happy Meal figures at McDonalds's restaurants across Europe and parts of Asia raised a lot of questions in the US whether the figures would be released on their continent as well. After a short wait we can finally confirm that both Cutie Mark Crew and Transformers Happy Meal toys are coming up as the next series in the US! This next toy refresh is most likely planned for September 17-18.
More countries, like Canada, Mexico and Australia, also missed out on the initial release, but we have yet to receive an official announcement for those locations.
In the mean time Argentina already confirmed availability of the Cutie Mark Crew figures at their restaurants, and even included a clip that demonstrates what figures are available and how they work.

MLP Merch Poll #174MLP Merch Poll #173 Results
Two weeks ago (yes we skipped a week due to our holiday) we asked you which Cutie Mark Crusaders member was your favorite from the newly found School of Friendship set. The results are pretty close, but the winner was Sweetie Belle! She is closely followed by Apple Bloom and Scootaloo ended up in last place, but it's all very close.

Better Images of Cutie Mark Crew Happy Meal Toys Available

Just this week we got the official confirmation of all characters that will be featured in the 2018 MLP Happy Meal line at McDonalds and today we're able to share much better images of all figures with you!
Aside from more detail, we can now confirm what each ponies' gimmick will be: Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Rarity have brushable hair and will come with a comb, Twilight Sparkle has a light-up horn, Starlight Glimmer can move her front legs, Rainbow Dash has moving wings and Spike (while looking a bit creepy) has moving eyes.
Right now South Korea, Italy, Austria and Russia have been confirmed to receive this line from the 25th of May. Some other countries, including the United States, are seeing games of Hasbro Gaming as the next Happy Meal line, meaning that the My Little Pony line will not be released there in May. This does not mean that the line will skip these countries, they can still be released at a later moment.
Thanks to Tomo for the images!

My Little Pony Cutie Mark Crew 2018 McDonalds Happy Meal Toys
A week ago a Korean McDonalds teased upcoming My Little Pony Toys. Alongside was the image of a Cutie Mark Crew-styled Rainbow Dash. After that we had more reports of people spotting the advertisement such as Italy. Now a Russian add was spotted showing the upcoming figures and like expected: They are all Cutie Mark Crew themed!
Available will be the mane-six, plus Starlight Glimmer and Spike (who looks... odd) It's unsure which countries will receive this Happy Meal next month. I hope the Netherlands will be as well. I've compiled a list of confirmed countries below and I will edit it each time a new country is confirmed.
Thanks a lot to Tomo and Anon for the heads up!

List of confirmed countries:
- South Korea
- Italy
- Russia
- Austria

New My Little Pony Happy Meal Toys Coming in June
At Korean restaurants of McDonald's an ad is out to promote a new upcoming range of Happy Meal toys, featuring My Little Pony and Transformers. Much information is not included, but a release in June is mentioned, which isn't too far away. The ad shows a chibi version of Rainbow Dash, something that might indicate that the toy line will be based on the Cutie Mark Crew series, but this has not yet been confirmed.
Commonly we'll hear more about the upcoming line before the initial release, which might come from Korea, but we certainly expect more countries to join in on this new Happy Meal range.
More information hopefully following soon!
(Thanks to Stinken and Reno Kim for the info)
