Rainbow Dash Play by Play Plush

 While visiting one of the many Intertoys  toy stores here in the Netherlands I came across this Rainbow Dash plush. They were displayed in one of the Famosa Display boxes, but their appearance was different then the small Famosa plushies. They had very fluffy hair. Then I saw that they had larger plushies as well. Twilight and Rainbow Dash. Too my surprise Rainbow Dash was wingless. Even the smaller version of her had this. I took the large Rainbow Dash home and started to do some research.

Sorry for the 1 week delay of Random Tuesday, I have been too busy over the past week, but I saved up all the merch for this post ;)
We start off with new blind bags! No, it's not wave 11 yet, these are light-up pony ring blind bags. For once the complete mane 6 comes in this set, yes, including Applejack for once! They are pretty big for a ring and to be quite honest look really cheap. You can currently find them at Walmart for only $1.96 if you want them though!

These fake Blind Bags have appeared on Ebay quite a lot of times now. But now we finally know from which brand they are. They are called "Fun Lovely Pony". They each come in a transparent packaging with some fake MLP styled artwork and Scootaloo for some reason. These are some really creative fake Blind Bags that come with unique cutie marks and eye designs. Their hair is also a piece of plastic apart which was just glued on the base.

It seems like there are 8 colours available for each mold. There are 4 different molds in total so that makes a total of 32 each. Each mold has 2 pairs of CM+Eyes.

 During the New York Toy Fair (Coverage here) we saw some Mane Six Brushables each with a Gothic-like style. Now they have appeared on Taobao, and now we can have a better look at them. Sadly, we don't have them all right now. But when they appear we will let you know and post the pictures.

We stumbled across 2 new Blind Bags today on Taobao. The first one is a purple Mr Cake and the other one a pink nurse. These are likely to be prototypes/fakes because the Mr Cake one has exactly the same cutie mark as the normal yellow one. Still, it's quite fun to see these.

We postponed this post for a while until a cover was released, but now we do! This is the book with one of the longest titles in the history of MLP as far as I know, and it will take a little while until it's available. Not just a little while, a pretty long time might be a better definition since it will be released on January 6th 2015! I guess by then most of us already forgot about this book, especially since it's targeted at younger readers, but we will keep you posted on possible Amazon listings once they come available.

Found this one on Taobao. She's 8 inch just like a past released Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Rarity. We even had another, more known pony with this size and that was the Chinese New Year Pinkie Pie one. It's good to see a big Applejack again since the Fashion Style is really hard to find right now. Even when she's larger then a Fashion style.

The seller also showed her with red-eyes in a group pic of a lot he sold. It's unclear if it's just the photo or if the eyes are really red. I decided to order one to find out. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Vol. 5

Diamond Book Distributors announced the release of the Friendship is Magic vol. 5 paperback comic in their September 2014 sales kit. As usual the trade paperback will be published by IDW and contain a complete story arc, which will be #17 - #20 in this edition combined into 104 pages.
The book is already up for pre-order on Amazon for just over $14 and will be released on September 30.
Amazon description: The ponies embark on their greatest adventure yet as they travel to a new world in desperate need of aid in "Reflections."

They just copy the pattern and sell them for a much lower price because of the high production capacity. That's why a lot of the times the plushies look really good for a decent price. Strange new version of the Queen Chrysalis brushable
While scrolling trough Ebay I came across this strange version of the Queen Chrysalis Brushable. The one thing that I noticed first was the fact that her hair is much lighter then her official release and that the "saddle" has a more lighter color.

 There are quite a lot of them on Ebay right now and the question remains if she's just a prototype/error, a future release or a fake? We will let you know as soon as we know more.

This Applejack has just been found on Taobao. As you can see she's partly transparent with glitters on her body. Just like the Pinkie Pie and Wysteria Brushables from the Pinkie Pie's Boutique line.

We have no further information whether she's gonna be released or if she will be a prototype. I think she'll be a future release, since she already got the glitter.

Princess Luna iPhone Case Cover
After doing a bit more research on the Rainbow Dash Screen Protector we found minutes ago, these snap case covers popped up on eBay! They are officially licensed, made by Bioworld Merchandise and come in four designs featuring Princess Luna, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and DJ-PON3. They go for $12-$16 on eBay, and are not yet found in other (online) stores. Be aware that they come in two sizes: one for iPhone 4/4S and one for iPhone 5 models. You can currently find them on eBay with search tags like "mlp case cover" or "mlp phone cover".

Even when they have been announced quite some time ago during the New York Toy fair, we have gotten some better pictures of 4 of them: Fluttershy, Cheerilee, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. We still need to find better pictures of Rarity and Holly Dash. These Ponies are often called TAF (Twice-as-Fancy) ponies because they Resemble G1 Ponies with the same name. The idea between these G1 Ponies was the fact that their cutie mark was all over their body.

Suddenly these 2 have appeared on Taobao. Seems like some sort off Rainbowfied version of Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. But the strange thing is they only have one leg decorated. What notices me is that both have a "Cat" themed leg. Scootaloo has tiger stripes and Sweetie Belle a leopard print. We have no idea what Applebloom looks like and how these will be released.

During the New York Toy Fair (Coverage here) It was announced that we would get a Photo Finish doll that comes with a Brushable Pony. Now she has appeared on Taobao and now we can get a better look at her. We only have pictures of her without her dress, but now we can finally see what her cutie mark is. They are aperture blades of a camera coloured black and pink. Looks sweet in my opinion.
UPDATE: This Photo Finish brushable and doll will most probably be part of the Ponymania series instead of the Rainbow Rocks series!

This product is already out for quite some time, but since we have heard so little about this we decided to write an article about this so that more people will know this Fluttershy. The idea is that there's a Fluttershy in the box made of ceramic. The next thing you do is paint her and then you can "insert" her hair. After that you can add stickers and decorate her like you want.

BE CAREFUL!

Always ask the seller to make sure she's really well packaged and secured when you buy one online. There have been quite some times that the figure was not packaged well and as a result she arrived broken in pieces. Tell the seller to open the package and reinforce the packaging before they ship it to you.

So that's some information about this unusual Fluttershy toy that few people know about at the moment. Like I said, you can get her online but I'm sure she's available in some stores.

Just moments ago these photos popped up at Taobao. They feature detailed images of the Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy POP! figures inside and out. The figures are reported to be about 7 cm (2.7 inch) which is just a bit shorter than your average brushable. On the picture above they reach the height of a lighter. These figures in particular seem to be the molded mane variants, as seen on the New York Toy Fair of 2014.

Various members of the MLP Arena forum reported that Target has started selling the Wave 10 Blind Bags. Even though they have only been available for a couple of days, various Target stores have already ran out of Blind Bags!
USA releases are usually one of the first worldwide (this time Singapore was first, though) and it can take a few weeks or months before the international release comes out in Europa and other places of the world.

It's pretty ironic, but The Game of Life: My Little Pony Edition that was cancelled weeks ago has risen from the dead. ToyWiz has started accepting pre-orders for the board game for $39.99 and claims that the game will be released in August. So far the same images have been used as before and the description on the ToyWiz page claims that the MLP Edition will still come with 4 pony game pieces.

We hope to gather more info and images on this board game, sadly the 'prototype' image is all we have available.

Just days after reporting early Rainbow Rocks concept art this images showed up on a Dutch toy store website called Top1toys. The image shows Twilight Sparkle both as human and pony, just like the doll package, but in a totally different style. We've searched far and wide, but couldn't find any additional information on the image or a possible variant of the Princess Celestia set. If you have more information on this image, feel free to inform us in the comment section below our post!

Yet another quiet Random Tuesday post, with only 2 items. The first item is a glassware set featuring Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. Just for this once, Fluttershy had to make room for Applejack. All four glasses are colored as the body color of the pony and decorated with line art and glitters. Paladone, a gift wholesale store from the UK enters the pony market with five G4 items.
The header image is a Pinkie Pie Plush Speaker. Yes, a speaker and plush in one. Hugging it could be a little awkward, since it's not wireless: an audio lead is included in the packaging. And with a single 2 WATT speaker I don't expect sound as loud as you would expect from Pinkie Pie. She requires 3 AA batteries and is 24cm (9.5 inch) tall.
