As a person who commonly restores Ponies (from every generation) I have to take care of the hair a lot! I've seen Pony hair in a lot of shapes, from being just perfect, to just frizzy and dirty. But sometimes the hair can already be a mess when I take Ponies out of their packaging and sometimes I just don't like the way it looks. So today I'm gonna show you the basic way on how I style my Ponies hair. This is one of the easiest methods out there and it's just a very good way to just show your Ponies with some nicely styled hair. :)

There will probably be a few people who have one or more wave 1 blind bag. And some of them might even still have the original promotional pamphlet that came with it (sadly they stopped with this in the later waves). For those who don't have them (anymore), we've made a scan of said pamphlet above the post. Notice anything unusual? Yes. The mane 6 looks totally different from the actual blind bags! After some research I noticed that some promotional images from Hasbro also contained the different mane 6 blind bags (hooray for better quality images!).

Just after reporting on the first wave of Rainbow Shimmer Princesses being found at Target, the second wave has already been found in the Philippines! We already knew that Princess Cadance and Princess Twilight Sparkle would form the second wave of Rainbow Shimmer ponies, but I personally had no idea they would be released this quickly! This Princess Cadance was found in a local toystore in the Philippines, but it's unknown if Princess Twilight Sparkle was available as well.
Right now Hasbro is bringing out toys in an incredible speed (same like the 2nd and 3rd wave of POP ponies coming soon) , probably to get everything out before Christmas.

The Rarity magazine figure that we reported on last week has been released. So far they have been found in the UK, but could also pop up in various other European countries. As usual, these magazine figures come as a freebie with an MLP magazine that you can buy in almost any store that sells magazine.

Today, a lucky person called Mel has found the Rainbow Shimmer Princess Celestia at Target, as seen in this video. While the original release date was set for September, this Target already put some out in the store, with hilarious consequences: Target did not have these listed in their system yet, so a manager had to come up with the price of what he though was correct: $8.99. While this was the price that they settled on, the actual retail price that stores will use could differ from this, however, BigBadToyStore also asks about $9 a piece.
While the find is very cool, most people will probably have to wait until sometime next month, when they are supposed to come out.

A French website called 'Trousselier' listed the MLP Magic Lantern Projectors on their website. We first saw these on the Spielemesse of 2014 (as you can see at the end of this video). These are a combination of both a night light and projector that rotate an image around, in this case a few ponies. They're available in 5 colors, and there is also one with a round base. The images of all lanterns seems to be the same, featuring basic vectors of Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Princess Cadance.
UPDATE: A Finnish site listed these Magic Lanterns for a gigantic price of €63,18 ($84)! Altough Finland is relativly expansive and tax is included, I think we're expected to be paying quite the price for these if they'll pop up in other countries. Once these are found in retail stores, we'll let you know!

Unlicensed MLP plush producer FrontWinner, known from the show accurate bootleg plushies, has added new version of their Fluttershy and Derpy plushies. Fluttershy's mane has been updated to better represent the one in the show, and Derpy now has an open mouth. While browsing the FrontWinner website I also noticed that the Flutterbat and CMC plushies have been removed from the website, for an unknown reason. The other MLP plushies are still listed, so it's possible that they're just out of stock right now.
REMINDER: You DON'T support the show when you buy these. These plushies are unlicensed and fake. No profit will go to the show. You can read more about the origin of these plushies here.

It seems like Target has placed something very interesting at some of their stores.  Seems like they use holograms now to advertise the new movie and toys. While the idea is simple, I think it works really well and it just looks awesome! Don't you think?

Today we've added a category in the MLP Blind Bag Database for prototype and error blind bags. This new category contains all ponies that are not officially released in any wave or set but has been commonly seen on eBay and/or Taobao. Most of these figures are also in our personal collection. Besides images the database also contains a little description why a certain blind bag is not as they're supposed to be (e.g. missing glitter, wrong cutie mark, etc.). While the ponies currently is not a definite list, the 32 ponies we've currently added are a great start.
If you own or see another prototype or error blind bag, don't hesitate to submit it!

Today on Amazon we found 3 mysterious listings for Play-Doh My Little Pony Make 'n Style Ponies, Rainbow Dash Style Salon Playset and Cutie Mark Creators. While there are no images available yet, the descriptions are very clear about these sets, which confirms that these will all be MLP Friendship is Magic (G4) Play-Doh sets. Play-Doh and MLP, both Hasbro IPs, have been combined before back in the time of G3, but these are the first confirmed listings for G4 sets.

Pinkie Pie won't be the only sitting styling size pony around for long, as this listing of a Fluttershy variant has popped up on Amazon. Fluttershy will come with a base (which Pinkie Pie hadn't) and a few accessories to style her hair with. The Amazon listing is set as 'Currently Anavailable' so no release date or price yet, so we'd have to hope that Target will release her quickly, as they also released the sitting Pinkie Pie. We'll let you know when she is found in stores!

These prototype keychain figures have appeared on Taobao this week. While these are clearly based on the Basic Fun keychain figures, we have no idea why these recolors appeard on Taobao. Some of the Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash figures have their usual body color, but others have mixed up colors, while keeping their original eyes and cutie mark. Loose figures like these without the actual keychain have been around for a while, they are probably factory rejects. Below you can see the Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash that we own ourselves.
The reason the title says 'possible' is because these could also be fake figures. The amount of figures the Taobao seller has is a bit suspicious, but it's possible that a huge batch of factory rejects has been dumped. With this amount of figures it would only be a question of days before eBay starts reselling these figures.
UPDATE: They've appeared a lot of times on eBay now, they're most probably bootleg!

 We already wrote about this doll a while ago when we only had one image of her. But the Equestria Girls Group on VK has found more images of the doll! She will be a Fashion Doll as well together with Sunset Shimmer and Rarity, it is possible she will be part of a later wave though because she will be available in October according to Entertainment Earth, she's listed there for $19.99. You can also pre-order her on Amazon for $39.99.

My Little Pony Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks Applejack Doll is awesome! With customizable shoes and alternate outfit, this collectible pony lady is the greatest. Ages 5 and up.

As we promised yesterday, here is our review of our Hasbro POP starter kits. We've made a video review and also created a text review for those who can't or don't want to watch the video review:

The Rainbow Rocks Fashion Style Princess Twilight Sparkle that we found on Taobao a few months ago seems to have finally appeared online. So far only Kohl's listed the fashion style pony, which is odd as it's not listed as a Kohl's exclusive. This Twilight Sparkle fashion style seems to come in a pretty big box that contains over 20 accessories. Among the accessories are a mirror, a second dress, a second set of shoes, a brush, purses and various hair clips and accessories. Twilight has painted wings, so they won't be removable like the 8 inch Twilight Sparkle. She is available right now at the reduced price of $26.24 (regular price $34.99).

Just in time before the schools starts (or maybe just too late), Toys"R"Us has listed this handy Stationery Roll Up Set to store all your pens, pencils, rulers, etc. in and roll it up to save space. According to the description (which you can read below) this set contains 4 inner zipper pockets and also comes with a memo pad, stickers, 2 marks and a gel pen (which we sadly do not have pictures of). The kit is being produced by Fashion Accessory Bazaar and is now available at Toys"R"Us and on their website for $9.99.

Fashion Angels has expanded their My Little Pony product inventory with this Bracelet Braiding Kit. This kit comes with 18 pieces of braiding cord in lots of colors, charms of every mane 6 pony, and a handy braiding clip. According to the description there should be enough materials to create 6 braided bracelets with this kit (one for every charm, that is). The kit comes in the usual Rainbow Power style and is available for $12.99 on Amazon ($17.99 when sale ends).

Funrise has started a new line of plush toys called "Sparkle Horn Plush", in addition to their already huge collection of MLP plushies. If you squeeze these plushies, their horn will light up (a bit like how the light-up cutie mark plushies work). So far Rarity and Trixie have been spotted, but it's unsure whether there are more ponies available or not (they might skip Twilight since she's an alicorn now). You can get these at Toys"R"Us for $24.99 each, but do note that these are very new and might not be in stock in every store yet. Thanks to Keri for the info and image!

At an extensive merch hunt today in The Netherlands, we've spotted many new official Hasbro MLP products that have recently been released in the United States. We've also had various reports of findings in other European countries. The new releases consist of the first wave Hasbro POP ponies, fashion style Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, the Friendship Rainbow Kingdom playset and the Pony & Breezie sets.

These 'statues' have been spotted by Alicia at Walgreens. These seem to be some kind of statues (possibly ceramic) of Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash that you can color in with included paint and brushes. The colors red, yellow, blue, green, black and white are included, so you will have to do some mixing yourself to get the right colors. They are a bit taller than regular size brushables and with the 'Buy 2 Get 1 Free' sale you can get these for $6.99 each.

A while ago we posted about a Styling Strands Rarity that was found on the French Amazon (Article here) But it seems like she's appearing in Canadian stores as well right now! This one was found at White Oaks Mall Walmart in London, Ontario in Canada for $22.84. Now it's not sure if all the Walmart's in Canada have her yet. So the best is to perhaps call your Walmart and see if they have her in stock already.

Tomo has just posted this image. It's was found in a magazine from Latvia. It shows a picture of a Rarity Magazine figure. These are called magazine figures because they come as a freebie with the MLP Magazine in some countries (also the UK) we already had Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Twilight and Pinkie, so that means that only Fluttershy is left.

We will let you know when we know more! I hope the Rainbow Dash and Rarity will also pop-up on Ebay for purchase since these figures are really well made!

After months and months of waiting and even a temporary cancellation of the complete game, The Game of Life: My Little Pony is finally available on Amazon. Just like the MLP Monopoly and Connect 4 crossovers, The Game of Life is also being produced by USApoly as a licensed board game for Hasbro.

Remember that we reported on the 'missing' Friendship is Magic #25 cover yesterday? According to Comic Book Resources this won't be a blank cover, but a special Artist's Edition instead! The cover will feature a special artist's sketch version of the cover A variant. The've made covers like this before, for example with the Friendship is Magic #13 comic. It could also be that the info is a bit mixed up, because they us both the names 'blank' and 'Artist's Edition', but this cover certainly is not blank! Perhaps we'll see more info in the nearby future.
UPDATE: Weirdly enough the cover says #4 instead of #25!

A lot of people seem to don't know the brand called "Plush Apple" since a lot of the merchandise only makes it in Russia. But they seem to make some interesting and awesome merch! We wrote a special about their products here for those who want to know more.

It'll be a long wait for Rarity fans out there waiting for the Rarity bank that was announced at the 2014 SDCC. Both Entertainment Earth and BigBadToyStore listed her as pre-order, but the release date still seems to be a guess as the Entertainment Earth says March 2015 and BigBadToyStore expects to receive it in January. Luckily they do both agree on the same price: $19.95.

PREVIEWS world has put the IDW November solicitations online, which include Friends Forever #11 and Friendship is Magic #25. In total we get to see previews of 3 covers, and a 4th cover, the blank variant of Friendship is Magic #25 should be available soon. Thanks to DerpyNews for the info!

IDW has officially released their Friends Forever #8 comic, and it seems like only 3 covers this month! So for now we only have to do it with cover A, the subscription cover and an exclusive Hastings variant (which isn't available in HQ yet). You can get the comic at your local comic store (might take a while), websites of various comic stores or online downloads/subscriptions through iTunes or Comixology.

We've teamed up with FrankkieNL to make our Blind Bag Database available on Android, and as of today the app is complete! You can download the MLP Blind Bag Guide from your computer or go to the Google Play Store on your phone and search for "Brony MLP Blind Bag Guide".

Toywiz has officially listed all upcoming wave 2 and wave 3 of the buildable pony Hasbro POP Starter Kits. You were already able to see Amethyst Star, Lyra Heartstrings and Cheerilee on our website, but we've got the detailed images of ALL ponies and packaging of the upcoming figures. There are a few figures that have already been sold, but the newer waves contain different hair pieces and/or stickers. All of these are available for pre-order for $5.99 or $6.99 and will be released in September. It could take a while before these hit physical stores like Target, Walmart and Toys"R"Us, but we'll let you know when the first reports come in!

You might remember the 'cutie mark' fake blind bags we posted on a few weeks ago, but now FrontWinner is actually selling these fake blind bags, and there are even more variations than before.
The blue and yellow blind bags are now also being sold as keychains, and new purple and white blind bags are also being produced. The quality still looks a bit bad, but luckily you can easily see that these are fake by their glossy plastic, badly painted hair and no body color variations among all the ponies. I'd gotta say that I had to laugh about the purple colt, it looks just like a male version of Twilight!
