We haven't been in the loop of Kotobukiyas latest works, but thanks to a heads-up we got from an anonymous follower we learned that they're still creating new My Little Pony bishoujo statues!

After releasing smaller Kwistal Fwenz figures over the past few years. Mighty Jaxx has now announced to release bigger bigures of the series named: Kwistal Plus. The first one being Twilight Sparkle in all her Princess Alicorn glory. This stunning sculpture of her featuring a crystalized mane and tale stands 8.5 inches/21.5 centimeters tall and is sure to be a nice highlight of your (kwistal) collection!

During the Spielwarenmesse in Germany this year, Mighty Jaxx has teased these adorable upcoming Kwistal My Little Pony figurines. Whereas previous sets were released with the Blind Box format in mind, these are actually all sold seperately. Another difference for these figures is that they are also taller! The Blind Box Kwistal Fwenz series figure each are about 3 Inches/8 cm tall. The Princesses have a height of 6 Inches/15.5cm 

When we saw Mighty Jaxx their stand at the 2024 Spielwarenmesse it was clear that a new series of Kwistal Fwenz was in the works. After a bit of a wait the new series is now finally listed on their website, showing all details of the upcoming set of 7 ponies, including their release date!

A lot of news has come from China in the past days, and to prevent our blog flooding with smaller posts we're combining them here in this collected blog. We'll take a close look at the new trading cards from Kayou, loads of plush by ReeSee and a collection of blind bag figures from Dinosaw.

We honestly thought that the fad was over, but apparently Funko still sees a future in NFT collectibles as they announced the second series of their digital MLP cards.

 

Those who've followed us for some years now, might remember that time where we bought some MLP Trading Cards from China. For us this was the first time we heard of the brand Kayou and if you read our review, they made some pretty cool cards!

Well, turns out they even make more than just cards as appareantly they had a presentation last Friday where they display some new upcoming products. And not just cards, but beautiful figures and acrylic standees as well! Included are figures that also serve as a card stand, a very nice dynamic Princess Celestia and we can even expect some figures of characters we don't see getting much merch: Discord and Mistmane. 

Aside of the figures we can also see several Acrylic products such as acrylic cards, and some very cute sweet inspired standeed. We hope these will be available soon! We used to post about new My Little Pony releases from Mighty Jaxx about two to three times a year. Lately it has been quite with relevant news (they still have a lot pretty releases!), with the latest addition being Rainbow Dash by Ricardo Cavolo.

A very surprising new pony has been spotted on the Vietnamese online shopping website Shopee: Scout Kindheart, which is tied to the partnership between Hasbro and Girl Scouts of the USA. Alongside her the same listing also reveals Sparkle Series Izzy and Pipp.

It's not common to see a brand new reveal from Europe, especially one that is directly found on Amazon, but it's the case today with this new set called Dragon Light Reveal. Not only do we get a new character, the set introduces a new design too.

It has been a bit quiet lately, which seems a bit... odd given it's also the 40th birthday of the My Little Pony line this year, and aside from the Style of the Day brushables we haven't heard much from Hasbro lately, however we (finally) have some news for you!

Australian accessory designer Erstwilder has announced their retro My Little Pony line-up of accessories, and it looks amazing! The collection features their signature vintage-look with a mix of acrylic and resin resulting in large multi-layer brooches, earrings and a necklace with a 3D look. Also included are enamel pins and keychains.

Fans of larger "Fashion Style" ponies recently got treated with an Opaline brushable, and that trend is now continuing with yet another new character: Misty Brightdawn is getting her first release, as part of the new "Style of the Day" line.

 

Out of all the Spin-off lines Hasbro had released during the run time of the fourth generation, Equestria Girls was by far the most popular with the release of over 300 dolls durings its run plus the tons of media that got released as well such as movies, specials and other webisodes. After the fourth generation had ended many people wondered what the fate would be for the Equestria Girls line...

Yesterday images have surfaced of possibly a new generation of Equestria girls, this time with the main characters of the current generation minus Hitch. From the images shown we can see that the dolls are more diverse than the previous generation with at least different heights and possibly body types for the dolls. Their faces are also more diverse reflecting their personality more. From what I'm seeing so far I quite like them! 

Another image showing Pipp also shows what the packaging might look like. It also comes with tiara which you can wear yourself. Notice though that all the text is blurred out so "Equestria Girls" might not even be his line's name though it seems a bit... unlikely in my opinion.

Aside from these two images we have no other information for now. However seeing as around this time Hasbro usually showcases their products for the upcoming year I won't be surprised if we get more information in a few weeks. What do you think of this new Generation of Equestria Girls? After the release of the second wave of the Kwistal Fwenz series we didn't hear much from Mighty Jaxx in terms of My Little Pony releases... until now as their upcoming releases page has listed a very interesting upcoming Rainbow Dash figure...

This Rainbow Dash sculpture is made by Ricardo Cavolo who's work tends to use lots of bold colors and perhaps the most prominent feature being illustrating characters with multiple pairs of eyes which is also the case for this Rainbow Dash Statue and yeah... I think Dashie was the perfect choice of pony looking at his other works.

So far Mighty Jaxx hasn't provided any other info aside of a December the 17th date which will probably be the date pre-orders open. As usual we'll keep you updated. This morning I stumbled upon quite an interesting piece of upcoming Merchandise, especially those who are fan of the first generation of MLP: New Zealand Mint who is known to release silver coins themed after famous IP's such as Lord of the Rings, Disney etc. has now listed a My Little Pony one!

The coin is made of 1oz of pure silver and features the original six ponies (Blossom, Blue belle, Butterscotch, Cotton Candy, Minty and Snuzzle) in full-color together with the logo and sun. The other side of the coin features a Niue two dollar design together with a portrait of the recently passed Elizabeth II as well as the year 2022. The coin comes protected in a transparant case and is boxed in a high quality packaging featuring Starshine. 

In October we posted about some upcoming listings including a brushable of the current main villain of G5: Opaline. So far we only got one listing on Walmart but never saw any images... until now! The line Opaline is released under is the Wing Surprise line together with Zipp Storm, the latter having an Amazon.com listing already and she's available for order!

According to the listing on ABGee their wings flutter when you press their back legs. As mentioned before Zipp is already listed on Amazon for $19.99 USD and Opaline has so far, only a Walmart.com listing without images though I expect her to arrive on Amazon and other websites soon as well. Set by set we're seeing images pop up for the review listings we posted about earlier. After the Mini World Magic Mare Stream we now also sourced photos for the Sunny Starscout Smoothie Truck!

Our initial guess based on the review information isn't far off from what the set looks like: a brightly colored food truck featuring all sorts of (hoof to heart) accessories for Sunny Starscout to mix smoothies with and an oven for snacks. We also get to see the light-up sign on top of the truck, but sadly the photos do not show it in action. Inside the truck you can fit the included Sunny Starscout, but it wouldn't hold a second pony. The chalkboard on the front does open up, so the pony is accessible from both the front and back of the truck.

Last week we posted about several "hidden" listings for upcoming My Little Pony sets. Aside from some Walmart listings with in-depth reviews, a few more names were found, including the Mini World Magic Mare Stream on Amazon. There was no further information about that set, until we found wholesale information for it today!

We had to look it up, but apparently it has been nearly a year since the original announcement from PEZ that their My Little Pony line would continue with brand new G5 candy dispensers. Some months later, in February of this year, Pipp Petals was revealed as the 3rd character for this line-up.
