My Little Pony Crystal Blocks Figure by MGL Toys

Today I've spotted a very interesting new set on Shopee/Taobao: These adorable Crystal Blocks figures by MGL Toys. They seem to be modeled after the Cutie Mark Cew line and included are the whole Mane Six together with spike. Every figure comes in it's own box with the picture on the front showing you which character you'll be getting. So no blind boxes! No dimensions for the figures itself are listed but the boxes are 11 cm/4.3 inches tall so I expect the figures to be around 3 inches.

The listing we managed to found has them listed for RM59.90 which is about $14 USD however this is with the current 49% sale. Their normal price is around $27 USD You can find the listing here!

Funko To Release NFT My Little Pony Collection - Slim Chance of Physical POP

If you haven't heard about NFTs yet, you probably haven't been online much in the past year. Digital collectibles in the form of Non-Fungible Tokens is the latest gamble game where you buy and trade digital 'ownership certificates' of basically anything. Funko has been releasing their own lines of digital collectibles and is soon adding My Little Pony to the line of Digital Funko cards through their Droppp platform, sadly...

My Little Pony Happy Meal in More Countries + New Figures
We're back from our holiday and are back to share the latest MLP news with all of you! On our way back we were able to pick up Rainbow Dash from the My Little Pony Happy Meal 2019 line, and no, we didn't go through Switzerland. Here in The Netherlands McDonald's launched the same line of Happy Meal figures, which includes unique versions of Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Twilight Sparkle.
But there is more news, as the line is also available in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. However, in those countries the set does not only contain the ponies mentioned above, but features new figures of Starlight Glimmer and Spike as well! Pictures of both are shown below.
More countries could potentially receive this set in the future, as we've seen delays of months between countries in the past, but we don't have any definitive information on that.

If you can't wait for them to become available in your country: the first listings for these figures are now available on eBay.

Thanks to Sil for the heads-up!

Series 2 Stack'ems Spotted at Walmart
Remember the Stack'ems? These were Tech4Kids' (now Basic Fun) take to rival Disney's Tsum Tsum stackable figures. Back in 2016 they were announced at the Toy Fair, only to be released a whole year later. This year they announced their second series of Stack'em figures, but got overshadowed by Hasbro's own stackable figures: the Cutie Mark Crew blind packs.
Despite that, Basic Fun has continued their promised line-up of Series 2 Stack'em figures, which can now be found at Walmart. There's a total of 12 figures to collect: Cheerilee, DJ Pon-3, Muffins/Derpy, Octavia, Princess Luna and Spike. All in both regular and clear versions.
Thanks to @mlp.collection for the photo!

Cutie Mark Crew Happy Meal Toys Confirmed For US
The release of the Cutie Mark Crew Happy Meal figures at McDonalds's restaurants across Europe and parts of Asia raised a lot of questions in the US whether the figures would be released on their continent as well. After a short wait we can finally confirm that both Cutie Mark Crew and Transformers Happy Meal toys are coming up as the next series in the US! This next toy refresh is most likely planned for September 17-18.
More countries, like Canada, Mexico and Australia, also missed out on the initial release, but we have yet to receive an official announcement for those locations.
In the mean time Argentina already confirmed availability of the Cutie Mark Crew figures at their restaurants, and even included a clip that demonstrates what figures are available and how they work.
