I'm sure most of you have seen the newest trailer for the movie. What did you think of it? I like the new more dynamic and fluent animation style and to see the other characters finally in action as well! To stay in the theme of the movie, Toywiz has listed some interesting new CCG items. The first one is a Movie themed Base Kit with a Playmat and possible two different decks to play the game. The other listing is one for the booster packs which will be called: Seaquestria and Beyond.
According to Toywiz these items will arrive this October. Have the listings below!

Last week we asked your first response to the release of detailed images of the Wave 22 blind bags. By far the biggest group thinks this set is absolutely perfect! Sadly, the total amount of people who voted a negative answer is still larger, starting with 15% of you who aren't really excited, but don't know what should have been improved. From those that do it's a quite an even spread over the reasons: too many or too few new characters, boring designs and low amount of likeable characters all got around 7% of the votes.

The first time we got a glimpse of Stratus Skyranger was during the New York Toy Fair this year but now his official stock images have been spotted. Stratus Skyranger the Hippogriff Guard can be compared to the Big Spike one in terms of actions and complexity. His wings, legs and claws have articulation and he also makes sound and lights up. Last week we asked you what your thoughts are on the Seal of Authenticity that Hasbro added to official MLP merch as of lately. Almost 40% of you are going to check the seal whenever they buy merch in the future, and another 22% think it's a good idea, but will not specifically look for the seal. Then there's a group of 17% that thinks the seal is overdue and 20% doesn't see the value in it.

Only 8 days ago we first saw Wave 21 blind bags in stores, and in record time we've got images and names of all upcoming Wave 22 characters!
This next wave is a pretty close tie-in to the previous wave in that it's a mixture of Crystal ponies, Apple family members and some Rarity episode-related characters thrown in too. In contrast this wave does feature a bit more well-known characters like DJ Pon-3, Big McIntosh, Octavia and Starlight Glimmer. From the official mane 6 we only see Rainbow Dash in this series.

Chase figures can be identified by the same glitter-mane as in wave #21, which are Rainbow Dash, Thunderlane, Derpy/Muffins, Fluffy Clouds and Fire Streak.

Below we have a list of all characters names plus images of both the figures and their show counterparts.

Lots of new Brushables have been spotted on Taobao! At first we have a better look at some of the All About Brushables for the movie, but some other interesting news is that three new brushables have been spotted as well. The first one is a Princess Celestia with Tinsel Hair and painted accessories like her necklace. Her hooves are also covered in glitter.
The next two are perhaps even more interesting since Maud Pie and Coco Pommel join the new molds. Currently their release is unknown but we still have to see if Toys'R'Us and Target will be getting special releases. (we also still have that Songbird Serenade Brushable) With the SDCC coming up soon I think we'll here more info later.

I'm not sure whether they're running out of ideas or this is one of the most requested figures, but the current wave of Polish, French and UK MLP Magazines features a Rarity figure with sunglasses! When comparing the figure with the original Rarity figure from 2014 we do see a new approach at the mane and tail molding, so it's in no means a direct copy of the early release.
The magazine is at least released in Poland, the UK, France and several other European countries that normally sell magazines with the figures. Here in The Netherlands we're still waiting for a new issue, but that should be out this month.

Last week we asked you whether you still watch TV or not. And as the poll shows: most of you still do on a daily basis, an overwhelming 37%! Another group of 24% watches TV at some moments, and 13% only watch MLP. Surprisingly enough only 16% has switched to an on-demand service like Netflix and 8% has stopped watching TV all together.

Out of nowhere some new listings have appeared on Amazon. We get a good look at the upcoming Shining Friends Rainbow Dash, but I think the most interesting find is the fact that four new baby seaponies have also been listed. You can find the listings below including the images. No other info yet about a possible release date, but as always we will notify you.

After eBay UK and Toys"R"Us Singapore, the latest EqG Minis series is now available on Amazon. The Mall Series singles all marked as "In Stock", so there's no limited stock at the moment.
This first wave of singles features Trixie, Derpy/Muffins, Sweetie Drops, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle and Roseluck. Yep, that means no Lyra to accompany Sweetie Drops / Bon Bon this time, but who knows what the following waves will feature!

The Wave 21 blind bags have been released over in Singapore, so it's only a matter of time before they'll be available in the US and possibly other countries too. After seeing the first pictures (thanks to Joelle) it's clear that this wave is a reboot of the blind bag series for several reasons, which we're going to elaborate on in this post.

It has only been a day, but the first new MLP The Movie listings from Entertainment Earth already got their images online! Above you can see the Tempest Shadow & Grubber and Pinkie Pie sets, and below are the 13" Seapony plush we expected to see.
Pre-orders for the Friendship is Magic Collection sets and 13" plush can still be placed.
As an added bonus we also got a sneak peak at some of the other sets in the upcoming Friendship is Magic Collection line, showing Shining Armor's Royal Chariot and the CMC and their balloon stand.

Even though the fakies we usually see are quite obvious bootleg figures, Hasbro has decided that, as of the MLP The Movie line, official My Little Pony figures receive a seal of authenticity. Shifting light on the silver seal, which is placed on the back of the packaging, will reveal both the My Little Pony logo and a pony silhouette.
While the MLP The Movie line is the first series to feature this seal, it's expected that it'll pop-up on more sets and series throughout the year. The reason behind this move is unknown, but possibly Hasbro is expecting a lot of bootleg figures to be released towards the My Little Pony movie.

A new store finds post is well overdue and we've got plenty of news to share! Below we have all the latest info from the US, UK as well as some early releases from Singapore. Enjoy!

Entertainment Earth has listed quite a lot of new My Little Pony the Movie items. We get a look at some new Friendship is Magic Collection sets as well as Guardians of Harmony and a lot of cuddly plush. Without further ado, lets talk about them shall we? According to Entertainment Earth they will ship out this July/August. None of the listings has images as of yet, but we'll report on that as soon as they're updated.

Usually around this time of the year new costumes are being announced in time for the Halloween season. Incidentally MLP The Movie is being release earlier that month, so the two are a perfect combination, and that's just what Disguise must have thought. Their complete 2017 line-up for costumes and dress-up accessories is named after the movie, but some designs are still based on the classic MLP:FiM artwork.
In total the new line features 29 items, including new MLP The Movie characters and the regular trio of Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. These will hit the stores before or around September to be in time for Halloween, but we haven't heard of an exact release date yet.

Last week we asked you what type of Funko figure is your favorite. This might not be a surprise to anyone, but the regular vinyl figures won this won by a mile. The mystery mini's also got a decent following, and the Pop! figures ended up in third place. Overall the Hikari figures, Small Pop! figures and Cupcake Keepsakes received the least amount of love, possibly due to the low amount of releases.

Last week we made a post showcasing lots of books with their final announced covers. But before that in February we also made a post about other upcoming books which didn't get a cover yet. One of them has now been updated and the image is adorable as hell. (even though I'm still not a big fan of Flurry Heart) This book is written by Tallulah May and the Illustrator is Zoe Persico. Amazon has not posted a description yet but the book is only 24 pages long so expect nothing too complicated. Still I think it will contain some nice adorable visuals.

It's been well over 2 months since we first saw official images on Amazon about the EqG Minis Mall Series figures, and now it's finally time for the first sets to be available. The first wave of single characters features Trixie, Derpy/Muffins, Sweetie Drops, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle and Roseluck and every character comes with their own piece of headgear and base. Currently the only known listing where they're available is over on eBay UK, but a wider release is bound to happen really soon. The seller is US-based, so it's unsure in which country the Minis have arrived first, but keep an eye out for stores to get these in stock, wherever you live.
