As soon as Enterplay announced the My Little Pony the Movie trading cards set we ordered a booster box from their store to take a look at all the cards and add them to our database. Luckily enough we got the full base set and quite some neat foil cards!
We've unpacked the booster box in a two-part review (including an overview of all cards) and right after we scanned the cards in and they're now live in the MLP Trading Cards Database.

Last week we asked you what your hopes are for the mysterious new Equestria Girls Minis that were spotted on a Polish Instagram. While we saw quite some comments of people not wanting blind bags, the poll option for that actually won! It got almost 5 times the votes that smaller non-blind figures got, so apparently blind bags are still popular. Another option that got lots of votes was to get just another wave of EqG Minis, without any special changes. Only 10% wants the figures to be cheaper and 6% is hoping for cheaper minis.

Only a small 3 months after the latest blind bag wave was spotted, we already have images of the next upcoming wave! This new upcoming wave has a small bunch of re-released figures, but plenty of new ponies to be excited about! For this first time you'll be able to get Soiled Milk (a.k.a. Spoiled Rich), Deputy Copper, Apple Brown Betty, Trouble Shoes and Double Diamond. The chase figures, of which there are 5, are once again regular molded ponies with larger glitter flakes in their mane and tail, much like the earlier waves. Aside from the new characters there are a few mold changes too, like Fleur de Lis and Raven Inkwell for example.

In the line of MLP The Movie Shining Friends we've seen Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and even Applejack! Still missing were Rarity and Fluttershy, but luckily we've got some news on that!
On Taobao listings were spotted showing final designs of both ponies and even the packaging is included. It's pretty unique to see these appear before any loose figures, but it's a nice change.
Just like the earlier figures these can hoof bump each other (or yourself) and they'll light up.
With this latest addition the original mane 6 is complete, but it's possible we see a fourth series with other characters, although no signs of that are known right now.

We skipped a week, but are now back with a big store finds update from around the globe! We've got the cutest Pinkie Pie figure for you, but also a Twilight rug, new dog tags, Songbird Serenade and much more!

Last week we asked you whether you'd like to see a new MLP Merch battle this year. And while there's a group of 21% who has no idea what we mean with that, there's a gigantic group of 62.5% that would like to see another battle! Aside from that group there are 24 people who would join and 3% who is not sure yet. Only 3% of you clearly not interested.
This make it clear that you're ready for another battle season, which we'll start up soon. So stay tuned!

We're happy to announce that after some heavy work our Media Database is finally updated, as promised! Below we have details on what we've added to the media database, including the brand new Magazines sub-database.

We were happy to have received an invitation to the My Little Pony the Movie premiere in Utrecht, The Netherlands. This took place last week, just a few hours before the movie was officially open to the public in theaters across the country.
Because we're very thankful for this opportunity we'd like to include you as our reader into this event by this report, including photos and a video of the goodiebag as well! We'll not talk about any spoilers from the movie in this post, as people might not have had the chance to see the post yet.

The official Polish Equestria Girls Instagram account just posted this image on their feed. We all know that the normal Equestria Girls dolls got a whole new look so what about the Minis? Well this image clearly shows a new kind of Equestria Girls Minis. First of all the whole look is way more Chibi-like with less detail int he eyes. Second, some articulation has also been removed like with the knees and arms. Third: the clothes are also way less detailed.

Last week we asked you what you thought of My Little Pony the Movie, if you've already seen it. And first off we want to say that we're pleasantly surprised by the amount of people that already saw it! About three quarter of the respondents has seen the movie, and of those by far most people are blown away by it: 45%! Another group of 17% is positive, giving it 4 out of 5 stars, and then we see a small group of just below 9% that gives it 3 stars. That leaves a small percentage of 2.5% not liking the movie, but with only 10 votes in total the group that gives it 1 or 2 stars is almost nothing.

We've got a bit less news in comparison to previous weeks, but that's not problem as we still have loads to show you! Everything is from the US though, perhaps next week we'll see some more international releases.

We're happy to announce that we've finally released the 6th version of MLP Merch! This version is mainly focused on the database, and below you can find all details on this update.
Important: There's a change in how logins are handled in this version, and while this greatly improves ease of use, you are required to login when you visit the databases the next time. This is only required once, after that you can keep logged in.

Last week we asked you what you think of the new Equestria Girls dolls again, trying to compare the results with an earlier poll that was held before we saw the final doll designs. Sadly we see that the overall verdict is less positive now, with the group loving them dropping from 19% to 16% and the group who thinks they're much worse are up from 31% to 38% now, showing that the final dolls didn't make a very good impact so far. Perhaps people will turn their opinion once they're found in stores.

Ponies made out of metal is not something you see everyday, but soon they will be available for everyone! Building kit manufacturer Fascinations has announced a special series under their Metal Earth line that features My Little Pony building kits. With these sets you can craft your own 3D metal pony out of a single sheet of metal. There's no glue or soldering required as the metal parts are held together by bendable tabs. And don't worry, instructions are included!
The complete mane 6 will be available, and the square metal sheets measure 4" in diameter, so expect the figures to be a bit smaller than that. Each figure is fully colored and will cost $9.99 each, and can only be pre-ordered at BigBadToyStore at this moment.

My Little Pony is back on the silver screen! After 7 seasons it's time for the first movie in My Little Pony's Friendship is Magic series, hitting theaters on October 6th.
And with this release in mind, we from MLPMerch.com decided to compile all the Movie Merchandise that's available in one ultimate post. This ranges from figures and plush to costumes, books and even collectible figures.

Last week we asked you how you were planning on watching MLP the Movie. And we see that there are quite a few dedicated fans out there! Over 63% of you is going to watch it at the premiere or very shortly after, that's gigantic! Another group of 13% will watch in the following week and 6% later when the theaters are more quiet. Of those watching it later we see that 4% choose to buy a disc-version, 5% on Netflix and 7% will find another way to watch. Only 2% is not going to see the movie in any way.

Today Tomo posted some new Blind Bags that have been found somewhere. These are kinda interesting since it's a whole new kind of Blind Bag release with packaging similar to the brushables. Each pony comes with several accessories. However, all of the figures have been released before as well as several of the accessories. No other info is known, the packaging doesn't state a specific line like the Friendship is Magic Collection.

Today another Baby Hippogriff figure in the same range as the Baby Seaponies has been found, but oddly enough it's called Flutter Cloud, just like another hippogriff that was found earlier. However, aside from that name they have completely different looks and thus we think it's very unlikely that they resemble the same character.

Continuing this thought we went back to the Amazon listings we found earlier, and what do you know: the product number matches that of the other hippogriff: Flash Feather. It could be a mistake for this single stock picture, but it's not unthinkable that loads of these figures end up in stores with misprint back cards. And the keen eye will see another difference: this "Flutter Cloud" didn't get the trademark logo after it's name!

Aside from these images no other information is available. We're still uncertain on the release date, but with images available it shouldn't be too long, our bet would be late October or early November.
