Hasbro showed various new Fashion Styles at the NY Toy Fair this year, including wave 1 of the Explore Equestria figures: Starlight Glimmer and Sapphire Shores. The original release date was set for this fall, but apparently late June counts as fall too for Hasbro.
Found in a toy store in Singapore, these are sure to make a lot of people happy who couldn't wait since the original announcement.
Starlight Glimmer comes with very colorful clothing, including a skirt, two shirts, a hat and some more accessories, while Sapphire Shores gets her famous outfit plus a big eccentric headpiece and an additional shirt.
As these are found in Singapore it usually takes a little while before they hit the US and Europe, so count on another week or 2 before these are available.

Fans of the Equestria Girls Minis can rejoice, as the first Pinkie Pie Switch-A-Do Salon of the new Equestria Girls Minis line has appeared in Toys"R"Us Canada stores.
The set features a new Pinkie Pie mini doll and 3 hairstyles (or wigs) she can put on and a full salon interior too: a chair, mirror, wig stands and various other accessories are included.
Current pricing for Canada is unknown, so if you spot in her stores feel free to share the retail price. Releases in other countries are expected within days.

 Hasbro has revealed their My Little Pony SDCC 2016 Exclusive. According to forbes.com it will be Discord Together with Fluttershy. Fluttershy will have several points of articulation and he Discord looks a lot like the Guardians of Harmony one in my opinion. A light up base will be also included. It will be available at the con for $49.99 at booth #3329

Last week we asked you which of the recently announced books you're looking forward to the most. The most chosen book is the MLP Adult Coloring Book, which I think was the most popular option out of curiosity (sadly, it might be another few months before we get more info). Other popular options were either all books, or Twilight Sparkle and the Forgotten Books of Autumn. Due to the popularity of Starlight Glimmer recently her book got a decent amount of votes too, and the other books do not appear to be as interesting with 3% of the votes or less. Also, 18% of you don't read MLP books and were not interested in the announces book either.

The Starlight Glimmer book has received it's final cover. The book is called: Starlight Glimmer and the Secret Suit and as the name suggest it will be about Starlight Glimmer, what the secret suite means is currently unknown, perhaps a hidden chamber in Twilight's Palace. The book will be released on August 30 and you can pre-order it on Amazon for $5.99

We just posted about the new Applejack and Pinkie Pie POP ponies, and guess what? Suddenly we spot new Rarity and Twilight figures too! Just like the others, these were first spotted at the Abrin Toy Fair. The Rarity figure is combined with a curler for her mane, and Twilight gets a sheet of jewel stickers.
Again, no release date is known for these figures and we're happy to hear any findings of these figures if you come across them!

Looks like the Hasbro Pop Line (now called Design-a-Pony) it going on. We already got a quick look at them during the Abrin Toy Fair this year but now two of them have appeared on Taobao: An Applejack one and a Pinkie Pie one. The Applejack ones comes with stamps and the Pinkie Pie one comes with metallic pens.

It's currently unknown when and where these will be released. If you see them please let us know.

Finally one of the mysteries has been solved, and maybe more. For quite some time we kept finding new Wonderbolt Blind Bags on both Ebay and Taobao. But now a listing on Taobao has popped up with all of them in packaging. A total of 10 figures are included in this set including a Rainbow Dash Wonderbolt wearing the Wonderbolts outfit. The ponies included in this set are:

• Spitfire
• Fleetfoot
• Icy Mist
• High Winds
• Thunderlane
• Lightning Streak
• Silver Zoom
• Wave Chill

This new line is simply called Wonderbolts and it will be a Target Exclusive line. Not long ago we found a Wonderbolt Rainbow Dash Fashion Style and a few month ago we spotted Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy in the Wonderbolt Leader outfits so it seems likely that they will belong to this line as well. We hope we can provide you all with more official information later!

A quick update for merch hunters worldwide! We've had various reports of new figures being released in both Europe and the US.
The new Friendship is Magic Collection figures of Nightmare Night have been found in France and the US. In France we know for sure that the Golden Oaks Library is available at Picwic for €22.99 (thanks to ooneptuneoo) and in the US the Library and Large Story Packs (Nightmare Moon's Chariot and Applejack's Stand).
Also, the Magical Scenes brushables have been spotted in Portugal for €9 (thanks to Sharon).

Good news for those who want the Crystal Empire Castle Playset. It has now been listed on the US Toys'R'us website and you can order it now for a total of $39.99. This playset comes with Baby Flurry Heart and Princess Cadance and it also got some light-up features.

Remember our post from earlier this month about 3D wall lights by Lighting Innovations? Well as it turns out, another company called 3DlightFX already has a brand new line of 3D MLP wall lights!
That company has various licensed lighting products already, and as of lately My Little Pony has been added to that collection. For now the usual three ponies are features: Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash.
The lights include a background sticker, which you can place on your wall for an improved 3D effect and the light itself runs on 2 AAA batteries, so it can be placed wherever you like.

Steven Anne has posted this tweet. It's actually about the Dr. Strange and Hulkbuster figures but there's quite something interesting shown as well. Behind the two a concept for a Guardians of Harmony Figure can be seen, well... the packaging. At first sight it looks like a normal one but notice the logo in the top corner... Instead of the regular one (with the new colors) this one also mentions the movie so perhaps this Guardians of Harmony Toy will be related to the movie or perhaps the whole line will.

As for now it's just speculation but it's quite interesting. Let's hope we find more information soon. Thanks to Splash Lights Media for the heads up!

Every now and then Zulily starts another big sale, and this month is a great one! During the huge 3-day MLP sale at Zulily we get to see a lot of deals on Equestria Girls dolls, plush, clothing, licensed merch and new figures like the Golden Oak Library and Friendship Express.

A recent presentation from Hasbro for investor has revealed the use of a new logo for the My Little Pony franchise. The new logo uses white text with a blue border, compared to pink on white that is in use now. The colors used in the 'rainbow' also have a little change with 4 shades instead of 3, and slightly different colors too.
Those who follow MLP news might notice that the logo looks like the recently released My Little Pony The Movie logo, but the logo used in the presentation has smaller borders and is not as glossy as the logo of the movie. You can see a comparison of the current logo (left), the logo used in the presentation (center) and the logo announced for the 2017 movie (right).
The meaning of the new logo is, and whether it will ever be officially used, is unsure at the moment and wasn't further explained in the presentation. The first thing that comes to mind is that Hasbro wants the MLP brand to become more gender neutral, with less usage of pink, just like we see in the Guardians of Harmony line. But that is of course just speculation, and we hope to have more news soon.

The first Fall Formal Equestria Girls Minis doll has been spotted! Not in the US, not in The Philippines, but in Italy! Not a lot of first finds happen there, and these have even been spotted in a supermarket! Thanks to Marco we now know that these can be found in Milan, and probably in other Italian stores too.
It's expected that, now that the first batch is available at retailers, more countries will follow in the coming weeks (or perhaps even days).

It's been around a month since the first Quest for the Worst MLP Fakies post, and because of the overwhelmingly positive reactions I've decided to write another one! I once again saved up all the fakies I found last month, and was planning to keep going a bit longer. However, I want to warn you all for new fakies that have been going around since the past 2 weeks, and in the past few days it's gotten a bit out of hand. So, as a warning to everyone I start this post with:

Last week we asked you on which device you read our website the most. The majority (57%) is still using a good old PC or laptop to browse our website, but another big group (20%) as moved to tablets with 7"+ screens and 16% is using their smartphone to visit our website. Phablets, Smart TV's and Consoles aren't used very often, only by a handful. Another 5% has other ways of visiting our website.

 Good news for those who want to expand their Nightmare Night collection as the third Chase Figure for the 17th Wave of the Blind Bags has been found. (Lyra and Ace have been spotted before) This time it's Cherry Berry who's dressed as a cute bumblebee. The only two we are missing now are Berryshine in her safari costume and "Dinky Doo" as a firefighter (?) These will probably appear soon as well.

Here's something interesting we've found on Taobao. A Rainbow Dash Fashion Style with Wonderbolt Markings hinting at a costume. The fact that we found several other Wonderbolt Themed Brushables and Blind Bags before may indicate that she will be part of this line as well. However, something strange is going on.

Toy stores in Singapore have started to sell the Sparkle Bright Princess Luna and Princess Cadance brushables. With the actual images you can also see that the lights are pretty bright and well visible in a lit room. An early release in Asia is very common, but those in the west shouldn't have to wait for long, as Entertainment Earth listed them with a June release.

Several new My Little Pony books have been announced and listed on Amazon for a release late 2016 year or early 2017. We also have the official cover art for the Around Equestria book too, which you can see above. One of the interesting books among these is the first officially licensed adult coloring book, which is said to contain 92 highly detailed illustrations. Also included is a book about Starlight Glimmer, Baby Flurry Heart and Twilight's book in the Princess Collection series.
Below are the title, synopsis (if available) and other information about all new books. Sadly none of the books, beside Around Equestria, have covers yet.

Entertainment Earth has updated one of their listings again which includes the Pinkie Pie Switch a Do Salon Set that was first revealed during the NY Toy Fair this year. A gimmick of this playset is that you can switch the hair of this Pinkie Pie. It's unsure if this will be a gimmick for all the upcoming Minis or just Pinkie Pie.
As for the listing, she's combined with the Slumber Bedroom Playset from the first mini's. She will be sold separately later on other websites like Amazon. As for now, you can pre-order these two for $42.99 combined. They will be released next month.

Last week we asked you which of the upcoming Equestria Girls Minis is your favourite. We could have seen this one coming, as Sunset Shimmer totally wiped out all the competition and scores 42% of the votes! Another popular character was DJ Pon-3 with 19%, and then there's a big gap before we reach #3, Fall Formal Fluttershy, with 7%. All the other votes are divided between the other characters, with only Fall Formal Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Flash Sentry scoring over 5%. And we can safely say that the Pep Rally figures are not as popular as we thought they would be.

So for the past days we posted quite a lot of news about the newest Equestria Girls Minis. But now almost all the new stuff we've found has now been listed on Amazon together with some great HQ Images. As you can see the packaging for the singles stays the same if you compare them to the first singles which is weird since I expected them to be a little different so that you can't confuse them with the past releases, but I think it's not kind of a big deal.

Lighting Innovations, a new player in the MLP license world, has announced their first pony product: 3D lights of Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. This molded pony has a built-in LED light and can be wall-mounted to serve as a decorative light. Also included is a sticker that can be placed behind the light to create an even better 3D effect.
Currently only renders exist of the 3D lights, but the planned shape and expression of the ponies is very promising!
