Last week we asked you how you're managing spoilers for MLP The Movie. By far most people don't care about spoilers and take in as much information about the movie as possible. Surprisingly over 25% of the participants says they didn't see any spoilers yet (that's quite impressive!). Another big group of 35 people is trying to avoid them, but still saw some spoilers in the past months. Surprisingly enough 13 people say they didn't even know about the movie (they must be joking... the news is everywhere!).

Right after the store finds post from yesterday we heard that the first MLP The Movie-exclusive character has hit the store shelves: The two-pack with Princess Twilight Sparkle and Princess Skystar has been spotted in a Target store in the US.
We didn't hear of a definitive release date for the MLP The Movie sets, but this release might be earlier than Hasbro intended, so don't expect your local Target to carry these just yet. As a side note, the Amazon listing is still unavailable as we write this.

The fact that MLP The Movie is going to be big is not only visible in the amount of promotional videos and official toys that's being release by the dozens, but in the book department there is a huge rise in MLP The Movie-themed books as well! Today we have a collection of 8 more books that are either brand new or have received a cover recently. We have one exception in this list, and that's the "Ultimate My Little Pony Guide". While it's not movie-themed we expect it to have quite some content around the movie, as it's release around the same date as the other books.
As you expect from us we include all information at hand, including summaries, pre-order prices and cover art.

It's been a while since our last store finds post, so we're very sorry if some of the news is a bit on the late side. However, not a lot of news came in so we have quite a short one, focusing on our own store finds and a few from the US. Enjoy!

Last week we asked for your first reaction to the My Magical Princess Twilight Sparkle figure, and as we slightly expected already "Scary" won! The re-design of the FurReal Friends StarLily does not look as nice and friendly to most people as Hasbro might have hoped. Actually, the only noteworthy response was Scare, as the others are pretty evenly divided around 10-12% of the votes. The least voted option, aside from "other", was Boring.

Good new for those who were waiting for the Guardians of Harmony Applejack and Daring Do figures to be released: Amazon has now listed them as available! They cost $9.99 each and will ship the 29th of May. We also get several reports already of these being found at Walmart. You can find the listing below:

Over on Amazon the first images of wave 21 blind bags have been shared on the listing currently still cryptically called "Kiosk Pony 7 Doll and Accessories". The figures included in this new wave is quiet interesting for various reasons, starting with the first official release of a Moon Dancer figure (ignoring the semi-related Playskool figure).
Secondly, the theme: There's a mix of crystal ponies and members of the apple family, two quite opposite themes mixed into one set. This set could be focused on Applejack and Rarity, of which the latter is not included, or it could be the theme of an upcoming episode or MLP The Movie. But honestly it can also be completely random as a one-off theme for this set.
And finally, in this wave a new style of chase figures is introduced with large glitter flakes on their mane and tail, which included Moon Dancer, a Royal Guard, Savvy Saddles, Trenderhoof and Svengallop.

Amazon has an incredible sale right now with loads of very recent My Little Pony toys and merch with sweet discounts. This includes Reboot Series brushables, plush, EqG Minis, fashion styles and several other lines. Promotional images of a new Playskool Friends playset. simply called "Treehouse", have been released online. The photos show a big playset with various points of interaction to be used with the My Little Pony Playskool Friends characters.
It's a bit vague which characters are actually included and which were added to fill up the setting of the photos, but one thing to notice is the first release of Angel. In the images it isn't really clear whether Fluttershy's pet will be a loos character or part of the playset scenery, but the design is different from the earlier announced bunny-character.
The current MSRP is around $70, which is pretty steep, so I expect some loose characters to be included with this set to justify that price. Hopefully we'll have more information on the included items once this set hits Amazon.

Last week we asked you whether you're getting any of the announced Funko Pop! Seapony figures. Overall you're mostly positive with 30% getting them no matter what, and another group (37%) waiting for the final designs and 9% of you is going to wait for the final price. 40 people are not going to get them at all, and another 7% is waiting for other characters to be released in the series.

We've already seen plenty of announcements for My Little Pony: The Movie-themed books, but Amazon just liked two more, including images!
The first book is a replica journal, like the earlier Equestria Girls Tell-All, this time from the eyes of Pinkie Pie in the MLP: The Movie universe. Besides the Mane 6 we also see Tempest Shadow on the cover, so she'll likely play an important role in this book.
The other book also features Tempest Shadow on the cover, together with Twilight Sparkle. This book is named "The prequel to My Little Pony The Movie", and is probably suitable to read before watching the movie, hence the release date of August 1st.

They are perhaps one of the most anticipated singles today as during the Toy Fair we saw that this set will contain some interesting characters like Soarin' and Big Macintosh, but other fan favorites like Starlight Glimmer, Sweetie Drops and DJ Pon-3 will also join this line. The concept of these brushables is quite interesting as they contain the face of the character and a background that's familiar to them. These make up for quite some lively designs. For those who don't like the design that much, they are just like regular brushables on the other side including a normal cutie mark.

Earlier this year, when information of loads of upcoming sets was released, we first heard about a particular interesting set: Canterlot Castle as part of the Friendship is Magic Collection.
Today we have exclusive news with the first images of this upcoming set, including the Princess Celestia and Storm King figures! The princess is released with the same mold as Princess Luna and partly translucent mane and tiara, and the Storm King comes with his full attire and staff, as earlier seen in announcements of MLP The Movie.
Of course the biggest part of this set is the castle itself, which is very detailed and comes with various accessories. Among these accessories are Philomena, a cake, throne and chest with books.

The box also contains some promo images from other sets for this line. Like the set with Grubber and Tempest Shadow, but also a set containing all the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

We finally get to see the Twilight Sparkle & Spike Friendship Duet set in more details with the release of promotional stock images for the set, which is going to be released around the summer.
Twilight Sparkle is going to get translucent wings with glitter, her cutie mark will activate the singing and her mane will be quite curly. Aside from a new design Spike will be pretty simple, as usual.
A single AAA battery is required for the figures to work, Spike probably just containing a NFC-chip to activate the duet.
(And do note the official set name on the box... it's just way too long, and that listed in 4 languages!)

I'm not sure if this happened before in G4, but the Glamour Glow Rarity is going to get a 3rd release, which will slowly start to appear online and stores worldwide. After Cutie Mark Magic and Explore Equestria she'll also be available in a Reboot Series box. And ever since the original release in 2014 none of the accessories or stickers were changed, and neither did the figure itself.
We highly doubt whether this re-release is going to be sold rapidly. Not only because it has been available for quite a while, but the figure itself does not seem to have been very popular to begin with. It has been on sale multiple times in the past years and the regular store price has been cut down from $39.99 to $16.99. So perhaps if this new release drops the price even further (highly doubt that) this could be a good moment figure for those who didn't get it earlier. Other than that... perhaps MIB collectors?

Last week we asked you which of the then announced Fashion Style ponies you're planning on getting first. As it turns our you're all waiting for a new Fluttershy fashion pony as she got 33% of all the votes. It's almost a tie between Applejack and Rarity, but the actual fashion queen just won that by 2 votes. And the final 25% are not going to get any of them.

A big announcement from Funko is just in: They're going to expand their line of POP! figures around the release of MLP The Movie with at least 4 figures. Seapony versions of Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle are set for a release around September-October this year.
Images are not yet available, but we'll be on the lookout for those in the coming weeks. Below we have some Canadian pre-order listings where they were first found, but expect Amazon or Entertainment Earth listings to follow soon.

Please Amazon I just want to sleep. It's almost already past 12 here when I'm typing this... anyways Amazon has listed quite some new merchandise today. We already found some new ones this morning but now we have Seaponies, Fashion Style Seaponies and a good look at the upcoming Tempest Shadow Guardians of Harmony figure. The baby Seapony figures have also been listed. We also get a first look at the Glitter & Style Seaponies who can be compared to a Fashion Style pony. We also get new releases for Princess Skystar one of them comes with a shell which makes music. Anyway have all the listings and images below. None of it is available yet but it should be this summer/fall.

It's been a very long time since our last episode of the Fakie Quest, and while we did two quick updates on fake EqG Minis, a new episode was well overdue! In this post you'll find tons and tons of fake My Little Pony toys, figures and basically everything that can be printed with bootleg artwork. Since the last episode we did not stop collecting images, and we did receive several submits too. (Thanks to Tomo, Ayu, Sharon and Andrea for their contributions)

Last week we asked you which MLP The Movie figure set is your favorite. The winner is a small surprise: the big Canterlot & Seaquestria set won! Usually these sets are less favorite because of the price tag, but it seems you're all into it! The baby seaponies, even though we haven't seen the movie yet, are also quite popular with 1/5th of the votes. All other sets are pretty evenly divided, but the Seashell Lagoon set is on the bottom of the sea with just over 4% of the votes.

Amazon has again listed a lot of new upcoming My Little Pony the Movie brushables. We get a better look at some of the Land and Sea Fashion Styles ponies we spotted earlier. But we also now have a better look at the announced Fashion Styles which will be the first time we see larger ponies in the Reboot Series style. I think they all look great, especially Fluttershy or maybe I just like her dress a lot. We also see Applejack return as a Fashion Style which is also great.
