After many requests from collectors and quite some research we can finally release the G3 plush database today! This has been one of the biggest gaps in our MLP database for years, and we're happy to have it online now.

Our My Little Pony database was ready for a (well overdue) update over the weekend and several of the items we added might not have been posted about on our blog or social media. Therefor a quick update on everything that has been added, so that everyone who is not subscribed to our newsletter know what's new.

A lot of news has come from China in the past days, and to prevent our blog flooding with smaller posts we're combining them here in this collected blog. We'll take a close look at the new trading cards from Kayou, loads of plush by ReeSee and a collection of blind bag figures from Dinosaw.

The celebration of My Little Pony's 40th anniversary is starting to take shape: Hasbro is promoting the celebration actively on social media, and licensees are releasing their retro toys and merch. Today we'll look at what Basic Fun (known from earlier retro G1 ponies) and Loungefly have available.

Big news coming from the 2023 Preview & 2022 Holiday Market this week where Basic Fun revealed their line-up for next year. This is all centered around the 40th anniversary of My Little Pony (yes, the last celebration is already 4 years ago) and included in their plans is something very special: the never released Celestial Ponies!

We're still not certain on how to continue with the store finds, so we're back with a classic one! This time we have a small selection of very diverse merch, so check them out below.

When we look at recent My Little Pony releases from China, such as the Pop Mart figures and Bloks building sets, it's clear that G4(.5) is still in full swing in China. Today's new release is no exception: over on Tmall a listing popped up with blind box cupcake plush.

New G5 Plush have been spotted at Tesco Ireland! This time we have two plush made by the company "Character" and these two plush are quite special. According to the packaging these plush are a 100% recycled. They aren't the first recycled plush though as about a year ago we also saw recycled G1 plushies.

As mentioned before these were found at Tesco with a retail price of 15 Euro's. So far only Izzy and Sunny have been found.

Toy Wholesaler ABGee has listed a brand new Sunny Starscout plush made by Flair. But she isn't your ordinary plush. She has the ability to glow in the dark when she's in the light for long enough, and also plays sounds from the movie. She will retail for £19.99 pounds. The listing can be found here.

However, something else has also caught my attention and that's the description they included with this listing:

Even after the release of MLP: A New Generation we're seeing new G4 merch being released, showing that Hasbro is still game on licensing the mane 6 from Friendship is Magic. Another example of this is the recent announcement from Symbiote Studios for 12" tall plush of Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash. It has now been revealed that they're coming really soon: November 15th!

Wildberries, the largest Russian online retailer, has listed some adorable new G5 plushies made by YuMe. These plushies are 25 centimeters (10 inches) tall. Available are Izzy Moonbow, Sunny Starscout and Zipp Storm. The plushies themselves are very nicely done in my opinion, as they have printed on details like texture in their manes, and Sunny even got some very nice bows.

New ranges of G4 and G5 plush were announced by Hunter Leisure, a plush and toy manufacturer from Australia that we remember from an earlier G4 range. Their plush are mostly manufacturered for claw machines, so don't look surprise if you find G5 plush in arcades later this year!

Time for another store finds post! Over the past few weeks merch news was pretty fast with release after release, so it's time to take a look at what's available in stores. We'll keep an eye out for what's coming in around the movie release and perhaps make another post later this month!

Over on the Play by Play website a new listing for My Little Pony G5 plush was spotted today, revealing the very first Hitch plush! With this new set, Play by Play extends their G5 line-up with soft manes, in addition to their earlier range of brushable plush.

The Royal Racing Ziplines were already spotted at Walmart very early on, but now we've gotten so many reports that it seems that basically everything is out on the shelves now!

We're slowly starting to see more licensees share their line-up for My Little Pony: a New Generation and today it's Just Play that listed their first G5 plush and styling head on Amazon. We know Just Play from their earlier released plush and styling heads, and they're back for a new generation of MLP merch!
