Yep its true what you see here. It seems like Hasbro REALLY likes to re-release older ponies, especially from the Rainbow Power line. This time the Flip & Whirl Rainbow Dash has been spotted in Cutie Mark Magic Packaging. The question still remains, why exactly do they do this? Did they overproduce some of their toys? Are they meant for some specific countries? Share your theories below!

Since the NY Toy Fair 2015 we knew that Hasbro would release a new wave of Cutie Mark Magic Singles. Today 4 of them have been listed on Amazon: Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Rarity. These don't have markings on their body but instead they got a big ribbon in their hair with their Cutie Mark on it. They also come with a Cutie Mark Themed Bracelet and they also got a Zapcode

We will let you guys know when the others get listed and when they will be available. They will arrive most likely this fall.

 Nothing gets Pinkie Pie more excited than a surprise party! In the Poppin' Pinkie Pie game, you can help her decorate by taking turns placing balloons on the cake she just baked. The more you decorate, the more excited she gets - and if she pops out of the cake on your turn, you WIN! It's super easy to start another game, and when you're done you can store the balloons under the cake. It's one surprise after another with the Poppin' Pinkie Pie game! My Little Pony and all related characters are trademarks of Hasbro.

 If there's one thing I love it's stock images of upcoming MLP Merchandise. Don't ask me why. Ah well we all know that Playskool will release a MLP Themed Line this fall but it seems like we finally got some images of them in packaging! We got the packaging for the Pinkie Pie Ball Popper, but we've also found the packaging for the Playskool Friends 2-pack, but only for Moon Dancer and minty so far.

Since yesterday we know now that the Power Ponies line will be exclusive to Target. Yesterday we've found Mane-Iac in her packaging but what about the Mane Six ones? Will they also be available individually or will they be bundled into a 6-pack?

Anyways Filly Second also joins the group after Saddle Rager and the Masked Matterhorn. She was found on Ebay.

Last week we asked you which MLP Merch Database you'd like to see next. You've all massivly voted for the other figures database, so we'll be working on that first! We hope to make some hunge progress this week, and hopefully release it in the coming few days. Apart from that we're also seeing that the cards and media databases got above average votes, so that'll get our next priority. The blind bag collector cards database is something that we'll be adding sometime soon as well. We've got most of the image ready but still need to prepare our system for this addition. Playskool got the least amount of votes, but that could be because the figures have not yet been released.

It was only a question of time before we found out more about the Power Ponies line that will be coming out this year after finding the Fluttershy and Mane-iac Mayhem Power Pony brushables earlier. According to the box the line will be called Power Ponies as expected, but will be a Target exclusive line for the US. It's common with Target exclusive figures to be released internationally at other stores around the same time as the US release at Target.
The large box contains the Mane-iac Mayhem brushable figures and the usual comb, but in a matching green color. And just like the episode, she also comes with a huge pink blowdryer.

So far we only have this image from Taobao, but we hope to find more information or other ponies soon. (Note that this Mane-iac Mayhem is a different release from that of the SDCC)

It seems like a brand named Rudolf Stein has released a new kind of MLP Merchandise. What we have here are "Mascots" these are small ponies who come with a suction cup and a plastic peg which you can attach to them on their back. because of this you can stick them anywhere you want! For example on you can attach them to your glass or bag. There are also quite some Ponies to collect besides the mane-six. You can also collect Minuette, Roseluck and Berry Green.

Enterplay has just confirmed the pre-release event for the CCG's latest expansion pack: Absolute Discord. This set is all about Discord with many of his personas, events and related characters. During the pre-release event on April 24-26 select game stores who choose to promote the MLP CCG can hand out special pre-release foils of Rainbow Dash: Rainbow Crash (Pf2) and participants also get a chance to win a foil Lord Tirek (Pf3).
Store can join the event up until March 31, so ask them quickly if you want your game store to host the pre-release event as well!

Yesterday we reported that the McDonalds in Australia and New Zealand would include MLP Toys in their next Happy Meal.  A lot of people have asked us if they will also come to the US. The answer... is yes. As you can see we took a screenshot from the official Happy Meals website. And it shows us that the next line of Happy Meal Toys will be Transformers and the MLP Ones. Right now toy's from the movie Home are included but after those the MLP ones will be released. We guess it will be around 3-4 weeks but we will keep you guys updated!

It has been a bit quiet these days with almost no news regarding the new Friendship Games Dolls. But today, 4 of the 12 School Spirit Dolls have appeared on Taobao. So far we've got Pinkie Pie and Rarity from Canterlot High and Lemon Zest and Sunny Flare who are from the Crystal Prep Academy. (This kinda helps me learn the names of the new dolls) Each doll also comes with the Zapcode Necklace.

We hope the others will soon appear on Taobao as well! We will keep you updated.

The Equestria Girls happy meal toys that have been spotted over the past few weeks finally got an official announcement over in Australia and New Zealand. After their current happy meal toy line of Home both McDonalds Australia and New Zealand will release the latest line of My Little Pony happy meals toys.

The complete line consists of doll and pony versions of Fluttershy, Applejack, Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie. The ponies are decorated with Cutie Mark Magic markings and have a brushable tail. The Equestria Girls also have some brushable hair and are designed after the first movie, and not Rainbow Rocks.

As usual with happy meal toys these will be released over time so they're probably not all available straight away.

A few days ago we posted an image of a possible Prototype of the Rainbow Dash Yahtzee Game. However, that old one was very unlikely to be real since it was basically the regular Funko Rainbow Dash. Now it seems like Entertainment Earth has listed this game as well, and this time they use  a complete new prototype. This time we have a Rainbow Dash Sitting on a cloud. As so far I've never seen this sculpt before. Still this is still a prototype image, so we are still unsure if this will be the final version.

You can already pre-order it on Entertainment Earth for $29.99 It will ship out this August.

And some new fakies have been found on Ebay. This time we have some Rarity Blind Bag Mold Keychains which light up and make sound. The keychains make "horse" sounds when you press the button. What do you think of these? We also found a video of these on Youtube.

Jerry Leigh, manufacturer of various licensed apparel has recently launched a new line of My Little Pony Fit & Flare dresses for girls. The dresses look a bit like the Equestria Girls style of clothing with their cutie mark on the hip of the dress. Along with the cutie mark the dresses also have an image of the pony in represents. A few of the dress have short sleeves, others are sleeveless.
So far the line has dresses for the mane 6, minus Applejack who seems to be replaced by Princess Celestia (which wouldn't be the first time).
At the time they're all available on the Kmart website, so we've provided listings for them all alongside images below.

A few days too late, but Hot Topic listed their cover of the Friendship is Magic #28 comic online, making it available to everyone. The comic is also eligible for the 25% off that Hot Topic has going on right now, making it $4.13 instead of $5.50. The cover is also available in stores.
You can also still get the other available covers over at Amazon (Regular Cover, RI Cover).

It's not only the official merch that has bootleg clones of it, but merchandise from 3rd parties are frequently copied too (e.g. Funko). This time it's some pretty random merch which you don't see very often: the Pinkie Pie Night Light by Meridian. The first image shows the fake version that was found, and the second image shows the official night light. As you can see it's very clear that the night light was copied as both the design of Pinkie Pie and the base are practically identical. The only obvious difference is that the fake version has a cream and brown Pinkie Pie, and is obviously not a licensed product. So if you ever find this in stores: It's not Pinkie's long lost sister Brownie Pie, but a fake!

In the past few weeks we've finally been able to get some Cutie Mark Magic stuff! We've made (and will make some more) videos of the merch and share them, including our thoughts on YouTube and here on All About MLP Merch.
Today we show you our Fluttershy and Honey Rays Charm Wings brushables which we were able to pick up. You can watch the video embedded below or on YouTube.

In last weeks poll we asked you whether you like the power pony brushables so far. And the results don't lie: By far most people love them! Over 55% voted for a definite yes, while another 30% likes to ponies shown so far. Around 8% thinks they're average for brushables, while only 6% doesn't like them or likes only a single pony shown.

Hot Topic has just officially listed the Spike figure from Funko on their website for $10, and according to that listings he's already available! As usual Funko also shows a neat image of the 1:24 glitter variant. Earlier reports stated a release of March 31, so please let us know if you get Spike whether he ships out directly or that it's actually still a pre-order.

Last week posted about the upcoming Rainbow Dash Yahtzee game by USAopoly, and it seems that this is the render image for the game. Although it seems that this is literally just the Funko Rainbow Dash in a box, so I expect the design to change towards the release in August. At least we've got an idea of what the box will look like, but I sure don't expect to see the final design of the figure to stay like this (although it would be cool).
We also still have to see what the dice will look like, as USAopoly mentioned that this game will included "custom dice".

About a month ago the Diamond Select Rainbow Dash Bank was revealed during the NY Toy Fair 2015. Amazon and Entertainment Earth have now opened pre-orders for this one. You can pre-order it on entertainment earth for $19.99 and on Amazon for $29.99. It will be shipped out on September on Entertainment Earth and on November 30, 2015 on Amazon.

Since today the Build-a-Bear Princess Cadance and Luna plush are now available online and in stores! Shining Armor has also been released today but as stated earlier, he will be an online exclusive. Just like the previous releases we have a list of the US, UK and Australian listings of the new plush!

I have no idea what the source for this was, but there seems to be a nice scan of the FiM #29 comic B cover! We're not 100% sure, but we think that the cover artist is Kathryn Longua, the same artist as the Friendship is Magic #23 RI cover.
Also, the comic is already available in 5 days on March 25, so be sure to get your copy in your favourite comic store, or online at Amazon.

And today this Maud Pie Brushable appeared on Taobao. And the interesting thing is that she was spotted in her packaging. Because of that we now finally know what the line will be for the flower Patterned Brushables: Yes, the Ponymania line will be continued and like the packaging shows, they will all be a TRU Exclusive! It didn't came much as a surprise that Maud Pie would turn into a brushable since we saw her in that add.

Anyway know we finally know the line! We hope we can find more official information and stock images soon!

A total of 3 new books have been announced on Hachette.com. One will be about the Friendship Games written by Perdita Finn. One will be about Spike named: My Little Pony: We Like Spike! written by Jennifer Fox and the other will be about Luna, written by G. M. Berrow. As so far that's the only information we know except the release date and the prices.

The Spike book will cost around $3.99 US/$4.99 CAN and will be available on September 1, 2015. The Princess Luna Book will cost $9.99 US/$10.99 CAN and will be available on November 3, 2015. And at last the Friendship Games book will be $9.99 US/$10.99 CAN and will be released on October 6, 2015.

The recently announced third series of My Little Pony trading cards is now available in stores and online. This series contains a huge new addition with 200 cards and various other contents (full list below), primarily focusing on the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic episodes, as well as various new characters introduced in season 4. You can get the cards as loose packs or in complete boxes:

• My Little Pony Trading Card Game Series 3 Card Pack (1-pack)
• My Little Pony Trading Card Game Series 3 Card Box (24-packs)

Every pack contains the following contents: 6 regular cards, 1 foil cards, 1 sticker or standee and 1 tattoo sheet. You also have a chance to get a rare lenticular card (instead of the gold cards) in your pack. If you buy a complete box you also get a box-topper card, which can be one of the 4 lenticular cards only available as box-topper.

After a year of MLPMerch.com we've decided that there is enough demand for MLP Trading Card news, meaning that from now on we'll post everything regarding to pre-orders and releases. Because we've not reported on the Trading Cards in the past year we've decided to first write an introduction about the cards and see what their current status is.
First things first: There are currently two types of My Little Pony Trading Cards:

• Trading Cards (TC)
• Collectible Card Game (CCG)

Both card games are created and maintained by EnterPLAY, a company that releases various licensed trading cards. The Trading Cards were released the earliest, in 2012, and the Collectible Card Game was released in 2013. The biggest difference between the two is that the TC are focused on trading and providing information, while the CCG is meant for playing the MLP CCG game.

A few months ago we reported that Tech 4 Kids was planning to release a new line called "Squishy Pops" of course we all know this line now but at that time we also posted the concept art of the Sweet Shop Display Set. (we had to remove it though) Now after some waiting, it seems like it finally hit the stores as this one was found at Toys'R'Us

As you can see the packaging has been themed around Cutie Mark Magic instead of Rainbow Power like the prototype image we saw at that time. The design of the product itself didn't change much however! You can stick a Squishy Pop on the building, and then you can let her slide down! The picture shows that Pinkie Pie will be included with this playset.

The first time we heard anything about the Fiendship is Magic Series was when Amazon listed a paperback version of all the comics bundled together. Not long after that all the individual comics got revealed. But... don't want to buy all the comics separately? You are now also able to buy them all bundled together in this paperback! Today we finally got a look at the cover and I think it looks great! Love how the sirens are floating/swimming above the other villains. This cover was made by Amy Mebberson!

The paperback will be released on June 16, 2015. In the mean time you can pre-order it here on Amazon!

Just like Friends Forever, a new Friendship is Magic Comic was also released. It's time for the second part of the Ponyville Days storyline in Friendship is Magic #31. IDW already released images of the A and RI cover, but also a subscription cover featuring Rainbow Dash! The comic will be available in June and focuses on the friendship between Twilight Sparkle and Big McIntosh. This issue has the usual A, B and RI covers and Hot Topic has their own exclusive cover too. #28 is the second (and concluding) part of "The Root of the Problem" story line and Twilight Sparkle will travel down to the heart of the Everfree Forest!

Normally when you think of My Little Pony watches, they will be pink, purple, white or any other bright color. Xtreme Watches proves that it doesn't always have to be so! Last week we asked you whether you'd like to see merch from our site. And we actually got quite some positive answers! Most of you would like to see an Amy figure. While we have no plans as of yet, everything is possible with 3D printing! Other Amy merch also got quite some votes, as well as shirts. Stationery wasn't as popular as the others, so if we ever decide to release merch, it'll be something Amy related or apparel. And just under 20% didn't like any merch, so that means a pretty reasonable amount of people do like it!
For now this was just a little scan of what people would like. There are no plans yet, but perhaps a future giveaway will contain something Amy related! ;)
